Yes it's true... Halo won't be produced until the beginning of 2004...

Well, I can understand why they do it... Look at MO, that had to be rushed, and so OWI left out lotsa things...

They're not rushing it, they're taking more time to make it. That's why it's coming out in 2004. It will be better this way...

I didn't meant Bungie was already rushing HALO 2, but I meant that they couldn't finish it in time. Now if they still wanted to be ready by Christmas, they'd be rushing and then u get the whole MO scenario again. But they don't want that, so they get more time for it. Good Job Bungie!!!

it will be.. and besides the longer we wait the More godly it will be when it hits stores and im not sure about the demo that Al said is commin in may now, since the date has been pushed back im sure the demos will be... dont wry we still got E3

Well now we all have some thing to look up to in 2004 already.
I kind of thought some thing like this would happen. How could you make ONE OF the best game in the world with out a couple more mounths?

Hrmph... my computer is not worthy of Doom 3. No really... it isn't. It couldn't handle the graphics and what-not. *tear*

ya there will be lotsa games to holdover like Tenchu 3, and Zelda and some others. but nothing will compare to the amount of enjoyment halo 2 will bring... what ever happened to Syphon Filter?

Halo 2: Release Date Narrowed Down

Earlier today we reported that through a post at Bungie that it was revealed that Halo 2 wouldn’t be released during 2003. This evening, directly following that report, we’ve managed to pick up on a release date that’s a bit narrower than the to-be-announced 2004. Thanks to one of GameSpy’s staffers that was on sight at the Game Developers Conference, we’ve learnt that Halo 2 is currently slated for release during Q1 2004. While the date could be a bit narrower, it certainly shows the chances of seeing Halo 2 before late 2004 are more than likely. Stay with us for more news as it develops.

after i read the post about halo commign out Q1 2004 i got a little depressed because do u realize how long away that is? thas a year from now, and frankly thats just BS. that means ill be almost done w/ my Jr. year in Highschool when the game comes out and that makes me mad considering the games first launch date was August 03

I'm sorry, but its a VIDEO GAME. Its not like you can't play it in college. And its not BS. Your only moping because you know it'l come out then. Had you never heard, you would stick with your sickeningly addictive ways towards Halo 1 and never thought twice about the release.

Yeah, one time I went to the video shop to hire a game, but it wasn't there, so as soon as I got back home I started cutting myself.
