Does anyone remember Elum? Or Meeches?
I understand why we never saw Meeches, but i really miss Elum!
Why Elum never appeared in other games like Abe's Exoddus or Munch's Oddysee? :fuzsad:

Elin didn't appear in AE in part due to technical limitations I believe. They appear in MO towards the end on a Vykkers operating table.

Now I think about it, I don't recall there being an area in AE or MO where he would be needed as there wasn't exactly any wide open deserts or anything to my knowledge.

There weren't really any areas where Paramites or Scrabs would naturally be either. OWI made up a reason for them to be there and puzzles to encapsulate them, as they surely would have done for Elum if they'd have been able to include him.

As far as MO is concerned, they were cut out due to a rushed production schedule along with roughly ~50% of what was meant to be in the game to begin with. IIRC there are still pre-rendered clips of Elums in MO floating around somewhere on youtube.
Personally I'm more interested in what happens to the whole marine life scene on Oddworld now that Munch is apparently off the table.
