Gravity Falls Thread for opinions and theories
This forum has a serious lack of threads revolving around Gravity Falls. I am very disappointed in all of you. You can post opinions of the show and theories in this thread.
Robbie is a Zombie. He matches the description in Book #3, and he has "Zombies Rule!" written on his car. I also have a theory that Wendy is the villain, because Dipper liking her seems to be the reason that most evil things happen. That is all. |
So, a Manco's thread. Okay.

Excellent contribution, Steamer. Please, tell us more.
I've only seen a handful of episodes so I can't really come up with any theories or anything. The show itself seems pretty enjoyable, but as a whole it just comes across as another Disney animated series. Most of the time, Disney's animated series are surprisingly good, even if they're a tv series based around a movie they previously released. I thought it was kind of funny how everyone was flipping shit and making a big deal over how good Gravity Falls is, as if Disney's NEVER made a good animated series or something. Ha. I really should catch up though. Gruncle Stan is a great character. |
Mabel has lumpy cheeks. That is all.
|
Is this show really worthy of its own thread?

What is this? I can't be bothered to google it.

It's like this toads fuckin rad show about 2 kids in Oregon solving mysteries 'n' shit wit'their cray-cray uncle and this fat guy and this cute teen girl. That's it. I don't even remember starting this thread. Weird, huh?
|
"toads fuckin rad"
It's a "fairly new" Disney animated series about these twins who are sent off to some town to live with their fucked up uncle. Turns out the town is just as fucked up as their uncle and also there's some supernatural shit like gnomes and ghosts hanging around also the boy twin likes solving mysteries and the girl twin is a complete goofball. Yeah, I think I covered all the bases. |
There's also this fat handyman and a cute teen girl, who the boy twin has a crush in. And a goat.
|
It is a cartoon with good, funny, well-written characters, a nice art style and unlike most animated kid's shows doesn't feel like it's dumbed down.
There's also a whole buncha mysterious shit which causes people to flip out with conspiracy theories about the overarching plot and stuff. It's worth a watch if you enjoy cartoons. |
Isn't there a Slenderman sighting at one point? Maybe I should give it a go, I was completely sucked into Adventure Time after all...
|
No, that was a hoax.
|
Aww, well I'll still give it a go.
|
Yeah. It's a good show if you're into hidden freeze-frame stuff.

Darkwing Duck, Gooftroop, Gargoyles, and Dave the Barbarian.
I've only seen like half an episode of Motor City, but it was interesting enough to catch my attention and I've really been meaning to watch the rest of it. I think it got cancelled early on because of low ratings, though. |
Scratch Gooftroop, and you win this round.
|
I recall enjoying the Aladdin series, but I was quite young at the time.
|
Weekenders was a pretty good show. I used to like that one. Might not be Disney but they aired it on the Canadian equivalent of the Disney channel alongside Dave the Barbarian and Recess.
I fucking love Recess. All of my nostalgia. |
Is this the one where it's like clerks but they're a bird and a racoon, The one with the dog that sounds like Bender and the boy that sounds like a boy, or the one with the band?
