Oddworld FILM?
Orite everyone, I have a twitter account Paulhibs3 and I contacted @AbeMudokon and I asked him "Is there going to be an Oddworld Movie? or is this just an urban myth?"
And the reply I got was "yes, but not currently in active production" :fuzgrin: No one really spoke of it due to me being a nobody. So I thought I'd let yous all in on it lol. Thoughts? |

Well that's not old news, a while back we new about this but unfortunately, as far as we know the movie is discontinued so to speak. Alternatively, there is a non-oddworld related film that is also discontinued at the moment called Citizen Siege you might be interested to know. Unfortunately I'm not the one you should speak to about this my knowledge is basic but I hope I helped a bit. |
Lorne planned the Quintology as a set of films first and only later decided to make games. He'd still like to make the films, but he's not actively working on them at the moment.

Yh I defo know about the Quintology and Citizen Siege. I'm a massive fan of oddworld. Although i've only played the playstation abes oddysee and abes exoddus. Don't have an xbox :( but a ps3.

I'm actually hopeful, because the longer they take to work on the movies means I can finish film school, acquire some notability, and then help work on them. Dream come true!

I doubt any kind of oddworld film is going to see the light of day until at least another 5 years, as Oddmobb is now working on social networks.

Well, the Oddworld film with concepts showing Stranger and Abe... could this be the much rumoured film to come? Perhaps SW does play a significant part in the Quintology afterall!
