I just love Oddworld/Sligs too much. I will never let this place go :p

I put "Maybe... I don't know yet." As much as I still love Oddworld and all, I've slowly grown to dislike these forums over time. They aren't what they used to be. And... if anymore change happens, I don't think I'd be able to stay any longer.

I think that all this "OH FUCK, I HAVE TO LEAVE, THIS IS SHIT!" situation is a bit daft. I just come and go as I like, and I don't make threads about it whenever I am going to be absent. If you leave, there's a possibility that you'll return, and if you do, you may as well just get back to posting instead of notifying anyone. The way I see it, the people who care will notice, and really, it's none of their business why you've left (unless it directly involves them, or unless you choose it to be), however curious the situation may be.

I'm sure that the majority of you disagree, but this is my firm belief.

From what I can see, there are two types of users here;

There is the first type of user who likes Oddworld and enjoys talking to the community about fan-based projects. It feels like there is second type of user who is super aggressive to everyone (no matter what the comments are like) and swears constantly and posts annoying links to weird youtube videos.

I don't really understand why some users behave this way, but at the same time I don't understand why people are leaving because of it? Surely leaving the community isn't going to solve the problem?

I'm on these forums every single day (when I can get to a computer). I don't think I'll ever leave, and I can't see the future, but I'd only leave if everybody really hated me. (Cue jokes about everybody already hating me)

I've already left this forum more than 200 times, I can come back any time I want.

i think i have left 3 times since i have been here. first because i threw a newbie paddy, then i had to move to another farm and didn't have internet connection, then again when i lost connection yet again. i think i'm sorted now.

i like the community here, its a good laugh.
