What are YOU going to do during summer?
 

Since it's almost summer[break]time(about damn time it started!) I thought of creating this thread.
What are you gonna do? Got any plans that you might share and inspire some of the posters here? Post it!

Actually I thought of bringing my ".pptgaming" to life. It's gonna take some time to finish everything I've started the last summer with it...

I got out a month ago.

I get to do physical labor until all the yard work is done, then sit around.

I'll do nothing. Just go on the computer, post on forums, listen to music, play games, and sleep. =)

Bike a lot. I've been doing 30 or 40 miles a day for the past two weeks.
I've also started lifting weights 3 times a week. No big changes yet, but as a 20 year old guy it ought to be coming around soon enough.
I'm really trying to get ready for basic training at the start of September.

Summer?! What is this 'Summer' of which you speak?

I will be spending my time huddled in heated rooms and wearing gloves to stave off the chillblains. Furthermore, I'm not even getting university holidays as I'm taking extra classes and have to work on final year project.

I plan to write things and learn guitar. Huzzah!

Also, I am road tripping to Chicago on this month's 28th day. Wondrous.

Thank God. Now I'll be able to give my full attention to things I really care about... :p
But, meh. Just...relax I guess, play videogames, go on the Internet, study Dutch, draw, sleep, listen to the radio, etc.

It's almost summer? It's barely 70% through the school year here!

I've been on summer break since early May. :P I start early August, though.

I plan to do the same things everyone else is talking about; play video games, hang around online, exercise, and sleep a lot... ... and yet somehow still be productive.

I get bored in the Summer. And when I actually find something I want to do for the rest of it, it ends up being near the end. So yeah, I need to think of something. Maybe I'll work on the RPG I'm making. :3

Sex. Lots and lots of sex... at leasts thats what I'm hoping for. :p

I intend to do some work, get laid, drink, have a holiday with my mates and try and forget about this forum as much as possible:D

Wow, Australia is weird. :D Do you have hot or cold Winters?

It's not Australia, it's the Eastern-Western hemisphere difference.
While the West is in summer, in which I think the North pole is facing Sol more than the rest of the year, the Eastern half is the exact opposite.


Ok, I have no clue how Terra's rotation works, but I know that during summer, the location in question faces Sol more than during winter, and vice versa.

Actualy it's the Nothern-Southern hemisphere difference.

Oh, and Jordan, It's cold.

It's a hemispherical difference, lets leave it at that.

I'm going to:

1. Eat.
2. Sleep.
3. Play with computer.
4. Visit sometimes summer cottage.

I can't see that far ahead. Despite being well into my summer already, though my friends have not yet returned from university. Neither of them.

No doubt I'll get shanghaied into a cliched and imaginary occupation such as "cherry picking".

Oh, BTW my summer break starts in about 14 hours and 50 minutes. Yes it's 2:42 AM here and I'm not gonna sleep at least 'till 5.

It's freezing over here in Winter.

As for what I'll be doing. Well, seeing as I no longer attend school, I'll be at work :p After work I'll do what I normally do, as in drinking and having plenty of promiscuous sex. Weekends and Friday nights are reserved for going clubbing long into the early morning.

But I'll be doing pretty much what Hobo has planned. T'is the awesome life of the younger adult generation with tonnes of disposable income to spare. God bless.

I ****ing hate this summer. I have to get a job and work on my driving. Simply speaking, I'm getting the first taste of real adulthood. People are ecstatic about getting their liscences as signs of independence. I just see it as a lot of extra risk and responsibility. Honestly, I know it can't be helped, but why is there so much shit that comes with getting from Point A to Point B?

I hate this thread, it's so wrong.

Gimme one good reason why you'd call this thread wrong? Maybe because people brag about insulation? Or is it that they actually get snow for winter? Weather here is so shitty that even when snow falls it melts about an hour later. Although it is freezing, there's not one snowflake. If you gotta be frozen then at least you can be frozen enjoying a snowball fight FGS! But nooooooo...

I like cold. It's my favourite temperature, so I don't mind it. But it's heat that bugs me. It makes me all itchy.

Ah, but I don't have too. I freely spend plenty of hours sleeping in parks scattered around Sydney.

I think even that beats your uninsulated flat :p
