Art of Oddworld
I got the "Art of Oddworld" book. It was expensive, but I think it is worthwhile.
My question is: can I show some pictures (sketches, designs) here? Is this... legal? :fuzblink: |

But if it is legal to show some screenshots of Stranger's Wrath here, why is it illegal to show here a few pictures of the art of oddworld :confused:?

because OWI allready released some themself and keeped the most intresting stuff unshowed to make sure fans buy the bookwhy would people (not die hard fans) buy it if they allready see most of what in.

there's something in the games that's called gameplay... the fact of actually playing the game and discovering how the story was told...

Hehe! I bought mine while I was on holiday. In Hong Kong Causeway Bay. New Territories. Hope that helps a little Munch's Master. As you might not have notice I live in UK and couldnt find a shop that sold it. When I saw in HK, I had to get it. Look out for it. There are kicking about somewhere. Just make sure you have some money when you on holiday. (or you could ask your family to pay it for you.)

I have the limited edition and the hardcover version
there are no differences, except of the cover the hardcover has full artwork the limited edition has leather cover and an authenticity certificate |

Ok, It is a bit different if you posted the entire book. Then OWI would loose money, but scanning 1 picture for non profitable reasons? No, I disagree, however, It is Oddworld and/or Ballistics rules and we must obey them. |
game and books aren't the same at all.
-you play games, you can't do that with only a screen shot but you can with a demo, like the ones OWI released -you read books, and you do that with the texts and the pictures and you can find a glimpse on balistic site we all agree that posting the full game or even a single ripped level (which isn't possible) on the net would be illegal, well posting more parts of the book is illegal too. |
