Excellent! My friend next door has satilite with all the channels, so he'll probably let me see the interview at seven, despite the fact he has no idea what the Hades Oddworld is. Groovy!

I'm really excited about the book, but G4TV.com are making it so difficult for me to get it(purposely or not...I do not know). I was told to e-mail them with my address so they could send me the prize, but the e-mail they gave me doesn't work. Every time I send an e-mail to the address, which has been many times, I get a message sent back saying the e-mail does not exist.

I've even gone to the G4TechTV forums and sent Private Messages to some of the staff of G4TV.com. Haven't gotten a reply...and I've been trying since Thursday evening.

I'm pretty much having a panic attack now. :dead:

I have a question for you, Oddguy...what the rest of the story behind Abe's stiched lips? Leorne said his mom did it to keep him alive, but then he never continues. What's the scoop?

You mean abe's mom?? That cant be true, is it? coz he was born as a slave, and they are born out of eggs.

It is very annoying. I'm not giving up, though. I'm going to do whatever I can to get that book...unless it's illegal of course.

I think there are a couple versions of the story.

#1 Sam, the mudokon queen was captured by the magog cartel. All the children she gives birth to are born slaves. Mudokon babies cry likes crazy, so all mudokons lips are stitched shut by the industry. Eventually, the stitches come off, but Abe kept his as a reminder of what happened to his people.

#2 I have heard elsewhere that Sam stitched the lips herself, because she knew Abe was the savior of the mudokons and wanted to protect him. Apparently sligs killed all the babies who cried...and Abe cried a lot. Abe kept the stitches, because it's the only memory of his mother.

Maybe all Mudokons are born in one location, and nurtured by their mother until fit for slav...I mean, employment.

No. Abe was hatched in RuptureFarms 1029, according to Oddworld.com. Sam is/was not in RuptureFarms. Oddguy's first theory makes the more sense, but the Mudokons in RF all seem to have kept theirs during their enslavement (unlike the Scrubs in MO, for instance), as talking is not allowing in RF.

Lorne said Sam stitched Abe's lips together...? That does not make sense.

I mean that the sligs or vykkers (know munch oddysee;)) stole the eggs, and then kept them in prison, and when the mudokons got out, they were raised by sligs or what ever.
