It was in the manual for Abe's Exoddus - just not the manual I got, and apparently, not the manual most people got. I think Abe Babe got one of the special ones, though.
|
Hmmm, I'm looking through the manual now and I can't find anything like that. I must have a normal one too :(
|
I want one of these specail manuels

Shame. Will they bring out a book explaining the stories in depth either near the end or at the end of the quintology do ya think?
|
lol you have to find some old editions... since they aren't in the new editions of AE...
eBay would be the best place to find that :p |
Oooh, just checked and I have a manual with it in. It's on Page 26 of my PC manual. It basically says exactly what Alcar quoted with a line at the front and end introducing it..
|
:
EDIT: So is it only in the PC manual? |
Yeah, if you wanted to irritate every seller on whether their AE manual had that particular page. :p
I'd like one of those manuals, too. I could keep my eyes open in second-hand game bins, I guess. As could you, if you wanted. |
To be perfectly honest with you, I got my manual (which includes the page) from Ebay just last week.
(wanted the pc version and only had the ps version...) |
Maybe Ebay's more useful than I thought.
|
hmmm it can be usefull but can be annoying it kinda balances out i guess
|
Yes, it's a toppling topic :p
Anyway, I think it's almost time for a new edition. |
Sorry for the double post, but I have another question, plus I can't edit my last post because it says it's someone else's for some reason.
Anyway, I know Slig masks have been advanced since AO, but in MO did anyone notice that sligs can blink their eyes now? How do you suppose they manage that? |
I dunno... ask Alf why don't you? :)
|

|
Lol, ok good point :P.
Why do sligs blink their eye's... hmmmm... maybe the nightvision has to cool down every now and then :P. |
Seeing as Alf didn't give me an answer, I'll ask the crowd.
In MO in all the Glukkons offices there are these floating oval shape things with what look like tentacles hanging beneath them. They are particularly noticable in the Reservoir Row level. Now they can't be chant suppressors as they don't so what are they? |
Zappers... (not official name)
they zap and kill in one shot, way to prevent smart gamers to be in direct contact with the glukkons |
Yeah, I got to the executive offices before, only to be zapped dead as I stepped in. I have gotten a Big Bro slig into the office before though. The funny thing is, you can shoot the Glukkon as much as you like, but he won't die!
-oddguy |
Yes, I noticed that. Things like that really decrease the realism of the game.
|
How do you get into the office? Abe always has to be standing on a pressure pad.
|
by being a smart ass playing the game for a day long non stop figuring it out. At some points its possible, I dunno where though...
|
it's possible in splinterz, you just have to throw Munch on the pressure pad
|
(I'm working from memory here) Isn't there a huge jump that only abe can do? Even with the jump powerup.
|
munch can make it... thorwed by abe or with the same power up if I recall well
|
Zappers are their official name, as it says in the manual (although that only depicts Native ones). I'd never seen any tentacles. I think you might be talking about some kind of electical buzziness field at the bottom of them.
