Also, u guys gonna continue with the PS4 version as well? Cuz theres some pretty annoying bugs (that ive brought up in the past, both here and on the blog) that still remain, like the bug that stops you from finishing zulag 3... Making you restart the level, and killing any speedrun.

Wait, do steam cards increase developers' profit?

Shit, I am a little bit excited...need to buy a ps1 to replay ao and ae now...

Game cards can be sold on the Steam marketplace. Whenever someone puts a card for sale on the marketplace, a fee is added on top. Steam adds (and takes) 5% of the set sell price. The game's publisher can set a custom % to add (and take) to the transaction.

So if you were to put a card for sale for 5 cents, this generally means 2 cents gets added on top. 1 cent for Steam, 1 cent for the publisher.

I have no idea how much money publishers actually make from cards alone on Steam. Given it's a matter of cents I don't imagine it's all that much in the grand scheme of things. Maybe a few hundred bucks over a few years.

Well I'm going to pre-order it because

1) I would buy it on the first day of release anyway
2) -10% off? Count me in!

The PC version was running with an Xbox 360 controller at Play Expo last year, so I think it's safe to say that New 'n' Tasty on Steam will work very nicely with one. :fuzwink:

Alf's Escape will of course be on Steam, although exact date and price details aren't yet revealed.

Here's a wee suggestion - don't know how realistic it is given the timeframe - but I think you should advertise the ability to switch to Old School controls within the game somehow. Considering, on twitter, the amount of people you guys reply to that have no idea that it can be done. Similarly to how some FPS (like Halo) give the player a short tutorial on camera movement and tell them they get switch to inverted controls.

If not perhaps it's something to think about if you guys ever get to working on Twice the Flavour and are remaking this screen:
