For the record, I considered leaving invites Officer-only sensible, since it means I can invite any two-bit newb without worrying about him dragging in all his scabby mates. I'm looking at you, Nep.

I am well aware that I can't always being around, however, which is why ScrabTrapMan, Wil and Nate are also OOWFSG Officers, though that may be news to the latter two. STM (Golgotha) is probably your best bet since he's usually online both forumwise and Steamwise.

I can also be contacted through the Steam group's trading thread, though this thread is far from obsolete; providing as it does reminders and updates for those who rarely log in to their Steam accounts. The Steam chatroom may yet prove a worthy successor to OddChat, however.

I'd say complete it on your own first. It's not that hard, and it means you'll be able to keep up with anyone you MP with later.

Me and STM are playing together, but we only got to the first level. You might want to tag along the next time. The more people the better.

For the first run I completed the game alone, it wasn't extremely hard and now it's even easier (they've added fairies who act like some sort of a second life)

I'd also recommend a solo playthrough since you're not likely to learn "the ropes" from me and STM. Rather than playing properly i.e. with spells, we just charge around shooting everything we see with overpowered bolt pistols and SWEARING IN ALLCAPS

Also, real advice: Spam volcanoes. EDDDF[RC] aka Shield-Fire-Fire-Fire-Stone right-click. Spam them everywhere.

Also, the most powerful beam in the game is QFSSAA[LC] or Super Electric Steam Super Beam ("Super" means two of the element). Things pop. Especially pink Space Marines called Aidan.
