They did it since people *cough cough impatient whiners* were losing interest because they couldn't stand not having to wait such a long time for news. It's not like OWI doesn't check in every once in a while.

I'm really hoping for an announcement before the New Year at this point. I definately can understand them being busy but I want some kind of bone as a loyal fan, to chew on.

I realy want to close this topic, or at least change the name of ...
each time I see someone posted in it I go check the Oddworld.com page to see if it has realy been updated. :p

Because that site is also the Oddworld Inhabitant's site. www.oddworldinhabitants.com used to take you there, but that address no longer works.

The site will start gaining new content soonish, probably when there's a film deal (i.e. when OWI and Vanguard sign up to a studio), and it'll grow from there. OWI’s new project is still at a really early, tentative stage.

Agreed, we're being teased way too much still. I mean it's nice to know that the movie or Citizen Siege for that matter is in production, but I'd like to see that on the official site not side sources.

heh, it's not like the went out after SW and directly started to work on CS, they had to be sure someone wanted to do it with them...

those kind of buisness isn't quick or easy

Eh? In comparison to what? The fifth chapter of the Quintology has existed for over 20 years. Citizen Siege is still a couple of years away, so there’s no hurry.
