If you look just next to the Mud Figure, you can make out a snoozer there...

you mean Munch's weelchair?
this is simply a screenshot, of a level witch was cancelled, and witch ended up in a press pack

Sekto Springs 11-22-2003 01:11 PM

that image that mac posted kinda has the same look and feel to it as the labour egg storage room where abe goes inbetween Loading Dock and Labour Egg Storage levels. doesn't it?
:fuzconf: :fuzconf: :fuzconf:

Xavier 11-22-2003 02:30 PM

true it does, but I doubt it's a secret area...

Sekto Springs 11-24-2003 07:57 PM

what do you mean by secret area? you have to go there to progress further into the game.

Mac the Janitor 11-24-2003 08:11 PM

Looks like there's a furnace or something on the far left...

I meant the screenshot Mac posted could be some kind of secret area...

lindsey 11-28-2003 04:26 PM

Is there a download I can get with abe and the shrink in it.

Wil 11-28-2003 04:40 PM

If you mean the never-aired television advertisment for Abe's Oddysee which was included as a special reward for completing the game on the PlayStation version, but which was excluded from the PC port, then Sligslinger is supposed to be doing something about that in his Movies and Music request topic, but as we all know, that thread seems to be long abandoned. You could try the downloads section of Oddworld.com, I think they used to have an .avi download of it.

Xavier 11-28-2003 05:00 PM

no Max, I don't think so, the video you are reffering to is a simple AO commercial
it isn't the guardian angle video

lindsey 11-28-2003 10:16 PM

What?:fuzconf:
Im mean the guardian angle thing I want to see it and I can't get AO on PS.

Sekto Springs 11-28-2003 11:09 PM

sorry about that, but it has not abandoned, i have it in my archives to visit.

my moviestar equipment (stuff you use to put movies on yer puter) has been glitching up, and since i was hesitating to fix it, the thread faded. but now that i see people are bringing up again, i might aswell do something about it.

lindsey 11-28-2003 11:17 PM

yay I still may get to see it

Esus 11-29-2003 08:08 AM

Heres a question for you....

Is it healthy for me to not play MO for two weeks?!? :(

Wil 01-28-2004 07:35 AM

Yes, absolutely. Oddworld rocks, but it's not the be all and end all of life. Enjoy the break from MO. You'll be able to return to it later, if you really miss it.

TWO WEEKS. I havn't played on any Oddworld game for about 5 months. I havn't got a tv in my bedroom, and the tv in the living room is always being used by my brother or my dad. So until I get myself a tv, i'm gonna have to wait a few more months.

I miss playing Oddworld so much that I think I will be playing on it continuously for about a week. I'm gonna have to complete AO first then AE, then MO one after the other, then repeat :fuzwink: .

Shows how thick I am, I forgot all about MO on the GBA, I played on that last month. Come to think about it, where is my gameboy *looks around*.

ANN NEELY 01-28-2004 01:26 PM

Ok. I played MO. I was goin' nuts not playin' it. MAN, I fell relaxed....

Ok, another question:

Whats the average lifespan of a Vykker? Gluukon? :fuzconf:

I beat MO 10 times, but never AO or AE. They won't work anymore... :fuzsad: :crying: :fuzsad: :crying:

Esus 01-29-2004 01:00 AM

Vykkers live on average, up to 120 years.

Xavier 01-29-2004 09:14 AM

Glukkons live on average, up to 65 years.

ANN NEELY 01-29-2004 03:03 PM

Oh. Oh, I see...O.O

Crig 02-02-2004 01:30 PM

I have a couple of questions.

Q:Does the Slig News Caster have a name?

Q:Do Fuzzles eat?(How would the digested food deposite the body?... Yeah,I know, disgusting question.)

A1: Newscaster Slig... at least he was never called an other way...
A2: do you know some creatures with theeths and a mounth that doesn't eat?

Yes,I've seen some, but it's just so wierd that they don't eat...

Esus 02-03-2004 09:53 AM

it would make sense that fuzzles do eat because they are our resident lab-rats, meaning they would need to eat or half the things tested on them wouldn't work. Such as Butt-Flo for example, and many other things such as any type of tablet which needs to be digested. Without eating, they wouldnt be tested on.

Crig 02-03-2004 02:17 PM

I've got some more questions...

Q.)What is The Chronicler and a Mug?I never heard about them in Oddworld. Is there any pictures of them?

oddguy 02-03-2004 04:08 PM

Hobo 02-04-2004 05:29 AM

I may have the least Oddworld Knowledge on the forums, but I believe that's a meetle, a mug is one of these fellows is it not?
http://www.oddworld.au.com/necrum/ga...n/meetle05.jpg

Wil 02-04-2004 07:13 AM

Yes, hobo, you're right. The image oddguy posted is a Meetle.

To actually prevent this small quarter being considered a picture request, I'll actually explain what these creatures are.

Chroniclers are the accountants, stock brokers, lawyers and thieves of Oddworld - basically its beaurocratic population. Trust me, they do have their place in a technocratic society. :fuzwink: They're actually chasing down Maggie (not literally) because of the vast quantities of money she owes them that are a direct consequence of the destruction of RuptureFarms, and subsequent disasters the Magog Cartel has incurred.

Mugs are carnivorous adult Meetles - essentially what you end up with when you feed a Grub meat. The Magog Cartel uses these fierce creatures as a kind of security/army force, and as you can see, they kit them up in tank-like gear. Magog Motors was to have been surrounded by them.
