MA, today I learnt that there was a zoo in I think Australia, that had problems with its crustacean tank. The zoo keepers would come in to check on them and find they'd all vanished. Any way it turns out a squid in another tank in the same area had worked out it could escape from a tiny hole in its tank, crawl across the hallway, climb up into the crustacean tank and chow down on some lobster ultra-rare. THEN it would climb back into its own tank so as not to be discovered.
Squids are gonna be rulers of the world soon and I for one cannot wait. |
Do you mean a squid or an octopus? Because I don’t think squid can climb out of water.

Their rubbery mantle also makes it more difficult to fit through gaps. An octopus, on the other hand...
