Deltron 3030 is pretty awesome. Closest thing I can compare them to is Dr. Octagon (AKA Kool Keith)

I love the shit out of Don Van Vliet. |
I know I post in this thread way too much, but there's just so much good music out there. Like this classic Modest Mouse song. Some of the best lyrics ever written. |
Nightwish - Dead to the World

Started listening to The Cranberries. I was shocked at lack of Irish musicians that I'm aware of, especially seeing that there's some really good ones.
Really like what I hear so far. But this song stuck out the most for me, even helped the transition to the band a lot easier seeing as this is the heaviest song from them I've heard so far. Still not that heavy though and your woman's voice is fantastic. Good song. |
Impressive.
Fleet Foxes Sing... Rolling In The Deep Fleet Foxes Sing... Walking On Sunshine Fleet Foxes Sing... Never Gonna Give You Up Yes, it's not really them. Robin would never miss notes like that. Also, |
Thanks MA. Really. Thanks.

Because I can't tell the difference between Adam Ant and my Father. ;D |
One of my all time favourite songs. Reminds me a lot of high school. |
I’ve been acquainting myself with Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.

This is the closest track I know in comparison to the Main-Theme of Abe's Exoddus.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=unLgOtSemOA The interesting fact of this track is following: "On A Static Place Stephan plays ancient 78rpm recordings of music from the late Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque era through two mechanical acoustic HMV Model 102 gramophones and records their output with a pair of customized mics. These sounds are then transformed into the blissed aural catharsis you hear through spectral analysis and convolution processes." |
MM reminded me, I don't know if anyone works out here other than him but if you lift weights or something, this is great for motivation, but shit for musical taste:
|
Work out? Heavens no. Just a few basic exercises, every day before bed. Times by a few months and there you go.
|
Oh...well...still. Motivation!

Burial has a new EP out. I suggest anyone even slightly interested in electronic music listen to it, cause it's Burial and he can do no wrong.
Just click here to stream the 3-track EP. Second track is my favourite so far. It's godly. Here's one of his other tracks if you need convincing before clicking that link (cause it takes so much work right) |
|
Why is Drive's OST so good.
|
Am i the only person who loves portal 2 music?
Skip to about 18 heres a good song from the credits, quite funny if you've played the game. |
Don't be hatin'. |
Urg, what's with all the soundtracks dominating the music thread lately. Not that I have anything against them, I just prefer music recorded for the sake of being art, not to provide background sound.
As much as they may fit into movie/tv show/video game I find more than half the time they just don't work on their own. Anyways, here's some Pixies cause why the hell not. |
:
|
It's just that a lot of people who enjoy a game become convinced that an objectively terrible soundtrack was partly responsible.
|
Why do the best electronic artists come from France?
I just want to listen to this all day all night |
This man is the electronic artist from France. |
Am I the only one who likes Weird Al's original stuff better than his parodies?
|
No, I like Biggest Ball of Twine in Minnesota. But Everything You Know Is Wrong is a They Might Be Giants parody.
|
Have I mentioned how much I love Boards of Canada?
I recommend all electronicfags listen to these three glorious songs. |
This is so beautiful.
|
This really takes the cake on his last EP  Oh and I heard he's making a new EP Voltage in two days Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voltage_(Skrillex_album) |
I know I post a lot of Killing Joke. But I just can't help it, I love them so much. I'm going to see them Live 9th March and I can't wait.
