I think it's because everyone keeps forgetting he's an Admin.

You guys might want to check this out.

This game is a lot more fun than it seems right? I'm curious but hesitant to buy it.
|
Someone wants to be mentioned as an executive producer. What a fool.
|
I'm probably going to 'pledge' 60$.
I really want the signed DVD and it includes a Creeper -toy. Awesome! |
Even $60 is a bit steep, I'm just gonna pledge $15 (£9.20) just to get my name in the credits.
|
Yeah, I would go for the 30$ version, but luckily, I have some of my birthday money left, haha.
And 60$ isn't that bad in euros. (Around 40€) |
You could probably sell the stuff for ludicrous amounts after they stop giving them out.
|
Most likely. Everyone wants that pig bank.
The Creeper wind-up toy doesn't really impress me though, I'll take it as an extra to the package. |
Seems Mojang is starting to sell out. :P Ah well, can't blame 'em.
In The Escapists' March Mayhem, they beat Nintendo, Namco, and are in the process of beating Epic. That's pretty impressive for a company consisting of a small handful of people who haven't even released a finished game yet, but I wonder how long their fame will last? Sure, Minecraft is innovative and addictive, but it isn't the best thing since sliced bread... ...Says the guy who spends most of his game-playing time these days playing it. Hmmyes. My second castle is nearing completion. Here's a quick preview: http://www.oddworldforums.net/attach...1&d=1300806430 |
You sure do like castles, huh.
Anyways, I think Minecraft is nowhere near losing it's fame since they haven't even released the full version yet and almost everyone seems to like the game and it still sells really well daily. Oh and btw, has Notch said anything about updates after the game is finished? Will they keep updating it or is it 'done' when it's in full version? Also, I wouldn't say they are selling out just because they are making a movie/document and people want to support them. :) |

T-shirts are meh.
|
The T-shirts are good. They are both clever and something I can see myself wearing. Too many merch T-shirts are slightly amusing but just don't, to my eye, work as items of clothing.
EDIT: Having said that, fucking hell at the price. Fuck that. |
I could easily wear nerd tee-shirts as part of a serious outfit. And I could definitely wear those ones. And I would part with that amount of money to wear it. Financially? Bad. Feeling nerdy cool? Defo.
|
£20 for a t-shirt?! Sod that - Shame really, I'd consider buying one if they were reasonably priced.
I stand by my statement earlier that Mojang are starting to sell out. And I still don't blame them. :) |
None of the shirts are £30, what are you talking about?
|
*£20, sorry. 3 is next to 2. :P Typos happen. *edits*

I wish I had $10,000 to pledge.

Skyrail - Now updated with a new track to a second destination, and with detailed stations!
The tracks are bi-directional for simplicities sake, with multiple boosters since mobs still sometimes spawn on the tracks despite how they're in the air/have a 2-block-deep trench on either side of them. It reduces how far I have to walk if something stops the minecart. And yes, one of the tracks on the large ramp is incomplete 'cause I've run out of iron. :( It still functions, though. I plan to make a much longer track to a distant place on the map, perhaps to the nearest snow biome if I can find one. |
Someone has a little too much time on their hands. ;)
Just kidding, that's really cool. |
Didn't watch the video, but looked up what boosters were. Huh. Glitchy as fuck, by the sound of things.
I concocted an idea for making an engine and using buckets of oil (which would be found in small wells at bedrock level) to power a Minecart with Engine that moved only when you were in it, but couldn't push other minecarts. I should email Notch and tell him to put it in. |
e: shit, never mind.
|
Hooray for 1.4!

In the next update, yes. But they supposedly won't unlock anything, they're just there for completing them.
