Wish we knew. Right now it looks like the announcement is going out in September/October. I think Lorne said they were hoping for a 2010 release so the earliest you should probably expect something playable is Q1 2011.

I dunno about you guys but I don't think any of this is going anywhere. By the looks of things, Oddbox isn't going to come out anytime soon at least. It's going to be the new Duke Nukem Forever, minus the lawsuits and infamy.

Sounds to me that Lorne is with a couple of people maximum, trying to push something forward that they don't have the ability to do at the moment. I don't see any developers pushing their own projects aside to port a couple of games that won't get them any recognition and will likely only sell to us fans and a fair amount of intrigued people at best.

I don't mean to be a downer but I don't think The Oddbox is gonna come. RIght now the only new Odd content that we'll be getting is from JAW, so let's hope they do a damn good job.

There are plenty of companies out there who specialise in porting games and never develop original ideas. An example of this would be Digital Dialect, who ported AO and AE for PC.

In any case, many development companies out there end up working on other people's ideas, particularly when working on licenses. Given the current publishing arrangements in the gaming industry, there are very few developers out there who can afford to have their own original projects.

With respect to sales of the games; AO and AE have sold very well on Steam. There is no reason to assume that the only people who would be interested in MO and SW are people who are already fans.

Well... I heard some time ago that MO's port was almost completed - I don't know how much time did it take them to do it, but it's about 50% of all work on Oddbox (considering fact that first 2 of 4 games are already ported) so I really doubt they're not able to make Oddbox...

The Oddbox is definitely coming... people are still working on it.
But I have to admit I'm more interested to know what the new projects of Oddmobb are

Especially now that JAW announced their HD remake of Stranger's Wrath. Dunno about you guys but I would assume that Oddbox would be released before JAW's SW, which means before Easter.

I suggest Stranger's Wrath's Remake to be included in Oddbox on PC...

I'd just like to point out it's going more to be a remastered version then a remake version.

I wonder whether Munch will play well with Mouse/Keyboard. Stranger sure, because it's a FPS, but Munch? Better get a gamepad for that...

The thing with Stranger's Wrath is that it has some platforms elements too that are better played while switched to the third person...

What I'm saying is that the gamepad will be useful for both game.

well, technically no since the oddbox is for pc and the ps3 remake is for ps3. However will they use the remastered version that jaw defelops for the oddbox or no? i don't know if Gilray knows about that but i would really like to know

JAW isn't working on the OddBox, so no, SW is not going to appear with it's remastered version since it is being developed ONLY for PS3!

Wait wait wait, I know I'm probably a bit late on this but, The JAW CEO is on here? Holy crap! Maybe they should start a topic answering all the stupid questions we have, or at least a topic so they can tell everyone that they have nothing to do with the Oddbox rather than stopping every user one by one.
