That can't be a glitch look at the numbers and lever(lever is supposed to be green) Then again I'm not sure.

It looks alright, but could have easily been done with -ddcheat but I don't know really.

‘-ddcheat’ is a code that that unlocks a noclip mode (that allows you to move Abe and some possessed characters around the screen, defying walls, floors, and gravity) in Abe’s Exoddus for PC. Instructions on how to use it can be found in the thread titled ‘-ddcheat’, and details of the same cheat for Abe’s Oddysee can be found in the thread titled ‘-it_is_me_your_father’.

I think that cheats wrong..moving poor Abe wherever you want etc but I shouldn't be talking I use that "bulletproof" cheat xD

The bonewerks one was pretty neat. As for Asilik, I'm guessing you were floating in the air or something? I couldn't really tell...
As for recording sound I think instead of using hypercam you can use fraps... |

That's an easy way not to get killed when the Slogs attack. =o
Haha I was playing AO a minute ago and I was in the Stockyards trying to get all three of the Slogs together and the last one at the end of the Stockyards on the ledge by the mines was just standing there so I got Abe up there with it and it didn't attack him! I made Abe walk around it the other two were scratching and growling so I went down to them and they didn't do anything either..well after a sec or two they attacked poor Abe. My sister got it on film so I'll have to upload it. xD |
i finally got the full version of Abe's Exoddus PC.
anyways, when i was using the trainer for the game, i was at a place with slogs. i used the invisibility, and when i go to the slog, it killed me. i guess Slogs have good eyesights, eh? o.o also, I FORGOT ABOUT THAT GLUKKON TRICK---why the hell didnt i use that trick on slog huts. STUPID STUPID STUPID! *commits suicide* >_< |
Got AO for PC on New Year's day. Two wierd glitches happened today, both in scrabania.
1. This was before the temple. Right at the place where the slog guards the portal to the entrance. I chant, he chases, I run left to the well. I MISS the well and I'm thinking "CRAP, I'm dead >_<" then the slog runs straight past me O_o. These were my reactions: =O O_o o_o >_> =D "Well that's convenient!" 2. This was in the first room right below the door you use to enter the main part of the temple for the first time. A scrab walked through a wall. Also convenient, cause it started fighting another scrab, thus I was able to sneak through and finish the room =D. |

I just got one in AO Scrabanian Temple. The first door, I believe, where you must tackle two scrabs and blow up a mine with a rock to get the bell song. At the screen with the first scrab I kept climbing down the bottom ledge, dropping down, climbing up to the scrab and climbing back down again as he ran back for me. Eventually the scrab simply marched to the edge and hopped off into the screen below. Whoops. Still, you need to roll to pass into the next passage so I assumed I'd be safe.
I assumed wrong. The scrab is able to run straight through the roll-tunnel and get you while you fetch the song. I didn't experiment much with the glitch, maybe it is possible to blow up the mine just as he gets you you and see if it kills him (since scrabs do not normally encounter mines in-game). |
I have a really bad one, real disadvantage to the level :(
I was in scrabania, where the elum goes for that honey and totally blanks out abe, so i did all that crap to blow up all those grenades to get to the 'Need Bees?' lever, then after that... OMFG... The bees were bloody multiplying!! Every group, killed abe in about 30seconds from one bee group... Its a mad glitch, plus trying to retry the level didn't help :( So i was stuck there, with elum drinking his honey stuffing his face, and poor abe getting stung the crap out by nasty bees :(:( |

damn, glitches are quite amusing to use, once you get teh hang of them...Though some are just plain annoying, like one Abe keep on running into a wall, even though it was nothing (On Abe Exodus) and wont get past it. It keept on happening, but then it just vanished...:/ silly once-appearing-glitches. Cheap thrills though.

Note he's moved Abe into where Dripik should be. Perhaps slapping Dripik somehow glitched him down through the wall or something.
