:)I know, but do we really know if she gave them up or was taken hostage like Sam was? :DNever mind, I'm probably just doing noobish wishful thinking.
|
Well, I think she cut a deal with the industrialists, unlike Sam, whom probably wouldn't give up one of her own children unless taken by force. Therefore, they did...

Nate, aren't Khanzumerz described as being purely evil?
~2000 posts~ |
:)I've got another question, since an intern's mouth is stitched and I can't remember if they a nose or not....Uhhh.....Well if they don't have a nose, how do they breathe?
|
http://www.oddworld.com/firsttenyears/ow_universe.shtml :)Does anyone know what the creature near the wildlife link is? :PI think it might be a kinto or something.
|
:)And another question, I remember when I played Abe's Exodus in an industrial level, there was this well that shot you past this screen where there was an open window where you could see a black city with lights outside. Does anyone else remember it?

The things on their heads may also be noses... or their belly button could be a breathing device... no one really know, but best guess is that they breathe through their stitched mouth. |

It was actually the War Room for Slig Barracks, I believe. Right before you possess Dripik. |

Q. What are the Shock-Rocker bats called?

Shock Rocker Batons...?
And used, I don't think it's more of a metaphore. I mean, wasn't it in the back of the intruction manual, or maybe that was saying something else about them. I'll check. |

In the back of the AE manual, it says the testing is to make sure the products are safe for "the most valuable creatures on Oddworld, the Khanzumerz!". It is often thought that they are who the Glukkons sell their products to cheifly, and you'd probably be right, but we can't ever be certain. Or yet, at least. It doesn't mention them being evil there, though. I don't ever recall reading that. They seem to be easily manipulative, given the Vykker products which are basically suicide pills or whatever.
And regardless of whether Glukkons are evil or not, they do seem to be jerks, alot of them. They probably could try to hire Muds or others, but instead they enforce slave labour, so yeah. My point there. |

Guys, he's talking about the object that the Intern Shock Rockers were to supposed to use.
|
"Shock sticks" sounds good.
That city outside the war room was the Slig Barracks. All tents and temporary structures piled atop each other. |
:)It still kinda seemed like a city to me, all big and black with lights....:)Hey, since the interns in Munch's Oddysee wear pants, does that mean they'll have reproductive organs?.....:)Idunno, maybe I'll go look at a picture of them or something.
|
No, they probably wear them for style.
|
Worker Mudokons wear loincloths, but they don’t have reproductive organs. Worker Sligs also have ‘pants’, but they don’t have reproductive organs.
Whatever interview or communication that originally suggested Khanzumers are the only race on Oddworld that could be described as ‘evil’ has long since been lost. Without a verifiable source, we have to take the factoid with a pinch of salt. |
The stitches we see on Interns are supposed to be vastly superior to Abe's stitches, I don't think they can breath threw their mouths.
|
As well as reproductive organs, there'd also be the end of the digestive system to cover up. I know Mudokons at least have a backside, it was shown in the colour graph-thingy in the Oddworld Art book.
