OK Max the Mug you could be right, i never realised the family trees within the game, where did you find out about all the sons and children of the bosses?

When Abe possess another creature can he "see" their memories and what not?
|
Is anyone gonna tell me anything about Habitales and Fearietales?...
|
What's that supposed to mean?
1. What is the name of the other continent on mudos' left? 2. Do the outlaws have a pecific name? |
Viroxide, information about Jo' and her sons comes from GameSpot's character profile of the Outlaws around the Buzzarton area. Information on Tiny being Meagly's son comes from the Outlaw Wanted Cards first handed out at the Game Developers' Conference 2004.
tentacle_orgy, there's really not that much to tell. The Habitales were going to be a series exploring the everyday lives of the Oddworld Inhabitants (not the company) - replicated eco-systems, biomes, industries and conflicts of interest between the Industrial races and the Native races all trying to control the fate of nature and natural resources. Oddworld: Hand Of Odd was going to be the first in the series, a simple real-time strategy, but without the bars, menus, pointers and tables OWI always try to minimise in their games. It allows the player to take control of one of three factions, adapt and make use of the land, and loosly follow the story of three central characters caught up in the conflict. One idea for the game was going to be that it took place in Oddworld's past so you could have Meeches running about. Online play and downloadable units were also planned. The Fearietales is quite the opposite, exploring the after-lives of Oddworld's stinky dead guys. This horror-genre game explores … actually, I forget. Somebody with the PC manual for Abe's Exoddus might want to just quote what it says in there. EDIT: biggy bro slig, firstly no, we do not, and secondly, you mean a species name? Yes, they're Outlaws. Believe me, I'd love OWI to change this. You mean specific names for each character? Maybe. Bosses obviously have names, and we have examples of Minion names. They're not mass-produced, nameless workers like Sligs, so their parents may name their children. |
Thanx for some answers!
|
Two things:
1. Can i start a new game on stranger without losing my previous saves 2. Whats the status i would have when playing stanger (xbox live) |
1. yes
2. i don't know |
thanks for the answer
|
your welcome and remeber that old stranger logo with the dragon? does anyone now why there was a dragon when there was none in SW?
|
It was probably just to make it look cool.
|
oh, i was hoping they were going to make a dragon like creature and it was cut from the game and maybe it would be introduced in another game or a sequel jsut like those "pelican" birds in munches oddesy.
well, we can only wait and see or hear the answer then |
It was suspected that the 'dragon' was the front of Stranger's boat.
|
Ahh, well done Esus, I did not notice this.
|
I've got a question!
Howcome in Abe's oddysee they put up a sign of how to rescue mudokins? |
so the player knows how to kill mudokons. It's a gameplay hint.
|
Esus, you could be right. maybe that was in that time you could still talk to your boat.
i know this might seem stupid but: what was the point of using lulu to get the gabbier when abe could of just possesed tex or another gluckstar? |
I dont know, but Fangus looks a lot like Stranger.
|
:
offline... the game isn't live aware |
I hear Fangus is going to be M rated. Is M rated equivilent to 15+ (sorry if this seems a bit off topic)
|
What's this Eugue (sp?) Estate you here on the Oddworld DVD. I know it has something to do with Maggie and the Magog Cartel. Sorry if this is a spoiler but I'm not too sure.
|
Has anyone ever noticed that the picture for Wildlife under the Universe section of the Oddworld official site is an x-ray of a Kinto?...
|
Yes, tentacle_orgy. We've known that for a while.
Marching Mud, I've NFI what you're talking about. |
I guess this is the right place to ask this...
What exactly are these things?: http://www.ballisticpublishing.com/b...roofs/0115.jpg , http://www.ballisticpublishing.com/b...roofs/0114.jpg I've seen them all before, and I once knew their names, but I totally forgot them. |
Kinto Slaves
|
Those are an interesting couple of spreads. Between them they feature Kinto Slaves, Mugs, a Sea Rex, the birds intended for MO but included in SW, and Maggie.
|
Thanks dudes! :D
|
Please can you answer my question as it's for my website:
Is an M rating equvilent to a 15+? |
T(teen)=M(mature, recomened over 15).
M(mature)= MA(mature adiences, must be over 15 to by or acomined by one). |

Left page clockwise from top left: A funky little bird that is not named (but is probably my favourite design in the book), not sure will have to check the book to recognise it, searex Left page clockwise from top left: 2 pics of mug iterations, baby meetle |
