It may just be the harsh lighting, the fingernail and tip on the small finger are both very small.

How does that small finger accomplish anything? What could he do with it? It's like as useful as a pinky toe.

Again, just so people don't get their hopes up, Abe's not gonna look like that in game. :p The hand's a render to get people excited. He might look like that in pre-rendered cutscenes (and it comparison to NnT's cutscenes, much much better), but it'll be toned down when you play it.

And the A.L.I.V.E 2 engine itself is a modified version of the Gamebryo engine. Which might actually suck worse than Unity.

The ragdolls were kind of a mood killer, even though I've always generally loved ragdolls, but I think they should have made them die with less force, perhaps make death animations that THEN lead to a ragdoll state instead of just death = insta-ragdoll.
Also, I think they should make the lighting darker and more depressing, hopefully it looks something like the pre-render, well probably not the model detail or texture detail, but if it has the same lighting, then I'd hyperventilate over it. |
The use of ragdolls was perfect for slig on slig action, but it fell flat for a lot of other deaths
Something about stopping dead in your tracks and just falling limp while saying "Aw why'd you kill me man" gets me good |
Just bring back the chunks of meat when you die. That was awesome.

NnT has meats of chunk while exploding. Like in MO.

I'm still disappointed you explode when you walk into an electric barrier. Should have been disintigrating into ash or ragdolled

Its the smaller things which made the differences in NnT. For example, when a steak falls from a meat sack, it looked ridiculous. They should have kept it to a simple bloody chunk of flesh

I think a completely redesigned Soulstorm Brewery in the same vein of the redesigned RF would be far more fitting for the location than Rupture Farms.
