Hopefully it'll come out and be marketed fairly well. Steam will no doubt put it on the front page but it might be other sites like Humble Bundle and GMG that will gain more interest from non-oddworld fanatics

Hrmmmm. Crazy and deluded fan speculation coming! I don't normally do this but I thought it would be fun to give Wil or OWI_alex a little headache or facepalm. Shortly before Stranger mobile & Munch Vita's releases they became the first games showcases on oddworld.com's slideshow. New n Tasty is now the first slide again and I thought nothing of it. It is the new game after all. But someone just asked on Twitter whether NnT PC was coming. They got the usual response but then this happened:

OWI just totally made my day today, we finally know the release date! Since it's coming out February 25th, when do you think we should expect the pre-orders to start? I am shaking while I'm sitting and typing, I am just so happy we finally know the release date!

Now, achievements and leaderboards are awesome. But as far as Steam is concerned, will the game also have Steam Cards? People love collecting those cards and at the same time would means some tiny extra income for JAW. And while we're on the subject, will Munch and Stranger ever get Steam Cards? It seems relatively little work. Just photoshop the images together and submit them on Steam (though I do not know the exact process) right? |
Fuck yeah! I was expecting having to wait even longer for the Xbox One version but it's coming out a couple of weeks after the PC version.

This is fantastic news indeed. February is already a great month for releases, and now it's just got even better!
