@Carnix and Alexfili - There's one major flaw with doing what you suggest: The logo is 4 different blocks - Since the scene is taken from the side, part of the logo would be visible on two of the side blocks because of the simplistic way that textures work in Minecraft (one 16x16 graphic which is tiled). As far as I know, there isn't a way to show the logo on only one side of blocks. Yes, I could shoot it from the front but I think it wouldn't look anywhere near as good as a side shot - especially since the barrel would obscure the view of the back pistons that "hold the barrel in place".

Yay, Minecraft limitations again. Also as Havoc said there's a lot of things moving about in the background - While it wouldn't be impossible to get the timing correct, it'd be very difficult.

But thanks for the suggestions anyway. :)

Compatible blocks for this would be Bookshelves, Crafting Tables, Furnaces, Dispensers, Pumpkins and Jack'O'Lanterns. Plenty to work with.

What I meant was that it was impossible to do that scene in a way that I wanted, I wasn't accusing anyone of anything.

And it was actually quite easy and I feel stupid for it not occurring to me sooner. Oh, except the lid isn't orientated the right way according to the previous shot... Eh I'll shoot it again later. Shame there's no way to "Stamp" this onto a barrel with the machine though.

@Mudokon_Master: Yes it was. As I said before, I'll have to re-do the prison cell scenes. I sped up those scenes because I shot them too slowly - The smoothness goes away when I do that.

Don't worry I intend fully to finish what I started. :) I don't pour this much effort into something simply to abandon it later - Unless many people lose interest. Currently it seems to be quite popular. :) Even if I don't end up finishing the planned adventure map, then at least the intro re-creation will be completed. But I have plans. Lots of plans. Oh yes.

But yeah, thanks for your continued support, guys - You make this worth doing! :)

EDIT: Oh yeah I will mention that this project has already survived a hacker attack and a near-loss of the world files. It's gonna take a mix of circumstances to kill it off.

Not everyone has the same level of attention to detail as I do - Or are crazy enough to spend ages and ages in this game doing what I've done so far (mostly 'cause they have better things to do, unlike me... lol). Nor are they perfectionists who spend ages making sure everything as good as they can possibly make it... And that's why it's taken me 5-6 months. Well, that and I didn't have access to survival mode until 1.0 came out. :P

Still, it's nearly done - There's a couple of easy shots to re-take and there's the boardroom scene to shoot.

EDIT: I would have liked to film the boardroom scene on Saturday and I posted an announcement here advertising so, but looks like people are too busy.

It will, however, be postponed until after Christmas, so if people can tell me when they are free so I can better judge when to hold this event, it would be a great help to me and this project can finally be done. :)

Not looking good so far, I may postpone it but we'll see closer to the day, perhaps I should give more notice.

Oh yeah and I've had a look - For ages I've considered RF to be far too small for what I've been planning, believe it or not. For the adventure map, I plan to extend the building of RF lengthways up to as far as the edge of El'Scrabino's area - Although it'll mean building over his world hole that he dug. Also I'll move Dripik's treehouse...

I won't be doing that just yet though, there's far more important things to do first regarding the movie, but it's an idea I've had.

Looks like we'll have to do the boardroom scene some other day.
We can just focus on shooting some of the other scenes instead.

I guess skinning creepers are glukkons would be a bit too dangerous to try?

There should be a plugin that make creepers non-aggressive but they'll still be moving around and jumping places they shouldn't be.

Hmm, suppose I could re-skin testificates or something if getting 9 people together is impossible. Lots of people showed up for the Exoddus opening, though.

Actually... there is a plugin that lets players disguise as mobs, including creepers. If you reskin the Creeper you won't have the problem with arms being in the way, they'd be more Glukkon like (and the irony of having the antagonist of Minecraft be the antagonist of Oddworld). Could be useful.
