I've spotted two wolves since the update (the second of which I tamed); both were wandering alone.

You can have as many as you want now, but they said they'll add a limit in the future.

yay! and they dont de-spawn

I now have a pack of four wolves.

I keep them in the house because I don't want them to die. :C

I have only 2, their names are Zed & Ned. They are brothers.

You can now find brown sheep and get brown wool now - I suppose Notch must've added that back in because of re-adding cocoa beans (I didn't take a better screenshot and they seem to spawn rarely):

EDIT: Why did I think it was coffee? Mmm, coffee. That would be a cool thing to make as a food item - Maybe it'd increase your movement/tool-usage speed for a time. :P

Speaking of sheep, I'm trying my hand at a little pixel art, and I'd just like to say that I fucking hate hunting the bleating bastards.

Put a bunch of torches on a grassy area at night. It's a fucking orgy of passive mobs.

I dyed a sheep purple once, he looks fucking ridiculous.

It's a pity sheep de-spawn, otherwise you could see it every now and then just walking past. It would also be cool to keep an enclosure of rainbow sheep.

Are you kidding? That minecart track looks great. The castles seem smaller than in your videos, though, I must admit.

OddHunter, the SteveCo. Crates give off the same amount of light as glowstone or a Jack-o-lantern.

How come when a torch is placed inside a pumpkin, the resulting jack-o-lantern emits 25% more light?

I had an interesting day today in Minecraft; I found a few slimes and lots of gold and iron. Also some lapis laz-whatever it is.

I also kept one of the small slimes as a pet. I named him Mr. Bentley, haha.

Wolves exist in Multiplayer, and they will attack other players if you so wish.

Today I started a new world and found a desert to build a giant pyramid in. It will have a maze at the bottom and lava traps around the place.

I want to catch a slime and name him phylum

Because Phylum is quite a slime.

I wish there was some way to stop slimes despawning.

I just hit the jackpot, found a shit ton of redstone and coal, 6 diamonds, 40+ iron and 10 gold! I'm happy.

EDIT: Holy shit, I've found 10 diamonds now. :D

EDIT v2: So I finally made a portal to the Nether and I'm going to test it out later.

I really hope they make finding squids and cocoa beans a lot easier in a future update; getting hold of black and brown wool is absolute bullshit.
