This track just makes me feel so damn cheerful. and this one just feels me with an unparalelled sense of wonder and amazement. Fuck, this game. |
I always thought this sounded very Banjo-Kazooie inspired.
|
I love the music in Conker, especially that track.
This was good, too. |

So, I've got Morrowind on my mind. And besides discovering, to my horror, that there is a Indoril NerevarxVoryn Dagoth yaoi following, I've also been trying to write lyrics for the Morrowind theme "Nerevar Rising".
Basically, it's "The Dragonborn Comes" but about the Nerevarine. I can't write it all in Dunmeri, on account of there being very few reliably defined words, but I've got some. Nerevarine, Nerevarine, Serjo Card Redayn, Kogon'wah Moon-and-Star... Well, work in progress. It translates as "Nerevar incarnate, Nerevar incarnate/Grand ancestor of ancient Morrowind/Indestrucible outsider/Of Azura's blessing..." Don't hold your breath. I just wanted to post this somewhere, I've got enough to do as it is. |
did I post this before? I can't remember. but it's so good that if I did post it before it deserves another post.
|
My new ringtone. I fucking love it when this plays when you start up the HD collection, I just let it play.
|
Favourite track from Silent Hill 2. There's another one I really like but can't find it on the youtube playlist. Was wondering if someone (IE Chris) could help; it plays during that scene with Angela. Spoilered for absolute safety. |
Yeah, Silent Hill has one of the best soundtracks of of any game I have ever played. And I haven't even played it. thats how good it is, I actually have all it's OST,s on my PC.
|
The previous post is one of the best posts I have ever written. And I haven't even written it, that's how good it is.
|
You guys are gonna carry this on now arnet you?
|
|
The graphics in RotR still look pretty good today. |
This would be awesome in the Snatcher remake!
|
This one is the most popular sound track in the game. |
I know I've posted Spiral Knights before but I just remember the Boss theme is amazing.

Or this one : |
Yes, the latter one. Thank you.

Take cover, MM's about to post a dozen videos! I'm looking at you, Kastere!
... Okay. Sequence. A game about music. All the music is by semi-professional musical artists, and wasn't made specifically for the game, so I could have put this in MV4 if I'd wanted. Do give them a go. A game of two halves, soundtrack-wise, with two different artists. --- I shall do story first. It's nice, ambient, tuneful piano-heavy stuff. It's just so nice. This one's fairly heavy. This one's beautifully light and lovely. This one's kind of jazzy, I like it. This sounds almost medieval, a sort of guitary parlour song. And this is a full-blown strumfest. --- Okay, now battle. These are a bit more lively, very heavy, very electronic. If you've ever fantasised about being some kind of musical techo-magician, fingers dancing over the keys as power pours from your fingers; I implore you, buy this game. Imagine playing these, while casting magic and juggling. Head-bobbing was invented for songs like this. In-game, by the middle of this, your fingers will be twirling like an epileptic jellyfish. Now I'm gonna bring yo' down, dog. --- Also, a very nice piano riff. And this is basically just a noise, but a pretty damn incredible noise. Headphones and high volume are a must. That was only 10. Deal wit' it. |

Rules so hard, how can you not wanna get off your ass and dance to this? |
this music felt great while fighting
|
Touch My Katamari will probably be the first game I buy for my Vita. I loved the demo and the OST is really bizarre in the best way possible.
|
Recently realized some of the tracks in SFIV are really great.
|
Here's something I've never understood, why people seemed to moan about the ambience music used in the Playstation and Saturn ports of Doom. Yes, the original music of Doom was great, but I find the ambience used for the Playstation and Saturn completely alters the atmosphere of the game from being this faced paced exciting shooter to a very scary game you want to take slow (Yes Doom scares me), it is truly amazing, and here are two of my favorite tracks from it.
But hey, I can understand hardcore Doom fans wanting the original soundtrack, would have been nice if the ports had the option to change between the music and ambience. |
|
Fuck yeah |
This is catchy.

Does. Not. Get. Better. |
... in the game. They really weighted the soundtrack quality towards the front end, didn't they? Pretty great though.
|
|
I want to have sex with this soundtrack.
Fuckin' great lyrics. |
I've been playing through Super Meat Boy again. The soundtrack is just too awesome. |
I got the double-disc soundtrack for SMB, yo. And a t-shirt.
You will not find such smooth sax in any other game. Also, |
That was a trumpet?
|
Oh yeah. I guess it was so smooth that I couldn't tell, Cammy.
|
Did somebody say...
Cammy? |
