Er, how exactly does this all work? I'm wanting to join, but don't know how the heck you play or whatever. Do you just, draw a character and weapons and stuff, then draw them killing each other? |
Practically, yes, that's the original idea. But over time, the thread turned towards 'epic battles'. There were a number of plots here and there (like the melodrama part, or the bar sceene from part 1), so we usually do comics with punchlines and mild violence (latter is not always present).
So, all you need, MM, is to draw a character to fight with, post it up and join in the fight. |

Well its gone from just showing off art skills by killing other people's characters, to showing off your comic genious by making the other person's character look bad. Its easy and really, really fun.

You know, the commic that you have to create week after week in order to please your people and drive off their famine, untill one day a handsome prince (Would it be more politically correct to say princess or do I have to leave all oportunities open?) will come and rescue you from the fearsome dragon (who was once a handsome young knight who slaughtered a dragon and slowly became the thing he hunted for so long) and you shall live happily ever after. The rabbit is too hard for me to draw every time I want to kill someone so I made something else. An eraser. Not just any eraser though. A Supa Eraser! Hopefully you can change your character.

There are a few things that give away that I didn't draw the messes, one of them is that the eyes are just airbrushed strait over the body. When I draw the messes I first use the airbrush to make where the eyes would be white and then put in the colour. Also I do the same to make their expressions (by using eyelids?) by first making what I want to be green/purple around the eyes white and then putting the airbrush in. The way Oddey did it shows the eyes behind the eyelids. These are not mistakes, it really doesn't matter how you draw them, I'm just proving Splat wrong :p However, Oddey, it would be nice if you used .png - it makes everything clearer and there is no colour obscurity (is that a word?) |
Sorry for stealing your characters Mooch the outlaw, but I started working on a commic randomly to follow up with my question mark one.
I'll try and incorperate your character soon oddey. ;) Also, I have an announcement, I am planning on killing of SPUD permentaly, sure, he was great, but now we have another shape shifter, and his vegetable jokes are getting old, so please start devising the finnishing blows if you want. ;) I was planning on picking up the kitten character, the pink one, that I have recently added, since he has arms, and is normal, boasting no such super abilities. Altough I'm looking into other characters to join in the fray. Also, I will try and stop stealing other peoples characters, and depict more deaths. ;) |

Hmm, good point, he was pretty easy, it was just hard to work with his hands and body shape.
I use paint too, and I know how hard it is, I often copy and paste when I can, but find it much more convient to draw the characters myself, I can usually do President UltraSafe, but he is sometimes hard to draw, the fuzzy messes are easy though, just two colours, and spray paint. I don't have any particular problems drawing other characters though. Will have to think about if I want a new character or not. |

Well here's my new one, still a bit confusing, but a death nevertheless, and to the foes that Spud could never defeat before.
To clarrify, Spud was originally a blue rabbit, according to my first commic anyway, and he was then transformed into a vegetable from toxi waste, which proseeded to transform animals into vegetables all over the world. *Edit* Got another character, defeating the erasor with some good old fashion trickery. |
