A clip from a documentary raising awareness for this extraordinary disease. My house mate's grandfather had a steel plate put into his head, and now they can't even recognise him.

Salamander 04-17-2008 10:45 PM

Wow, that was extraordinary, I almost believed it, I was astounded when I heard about metal tissue. I figured out it was fake when the patient was asked to talk. Also it was the fact that you can pretty much see the CGI that makes you aware of it's false nature. That and different names are given in the credits.

Havoc 04-18-2008 03:26 AM

Lol I bet this guy got an A on that project for sure :P. That was awsome.

EDIT: Never mind an A, he won a film award on a Dutch film festival for it.

Fuzzle King 04-18-2008 08:08 AM

Hobo 04-19-2008 03:42 AM

@WoF: I've seen that before but still think it's one of the best motivational poster type things on the net.

I like this one better though (Majorly NSFW):

Nate 04-20-2008 07:37 AM

And that one reminded me of this one, which I may have posted before.

Chubfish 04-20-2008 10:10 AM

Nate 04-24-2008 02:36 AM

Leto 04-24-2008 04:12 AM

lol!

and the Order Electrus was pretty good myes

mudling 04-24-2008 08:23 PM

These are great! :D
Ok, I've got one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ILvkE...eature=related
but there's many versions of it, some funnier than others.
That's all I got, that and the thousands of Benny hill paraodies (Sometimes, I can actually relate to his chase scenes).

OddjobAbe 04-25-2008 11:52 AM

Haven't played that game for a very long time.

DarkHoodness 04-25-2008 04:13 PM

The Order Electrus was very silly, but it was nicely made. :P Oh, and the Star Wars don't Drink and Drive ad reminds me of The Robot Chicken Star Wars Special (they deleted the last 2 parts though :( )

EDIT: Middlesboogie just showed this to me: :D

Fuzzle King 04-26-2008 01:35 AM

i found this a while ago and thought it was brilliant and very clever:
http://us.mms.com/us/dark/dark_game.jsp
its not funny or anything its like a painting with lots of different things in it and you have to find 50 horror movies in the painting by clicking on the certain piece of the picture and typing your answer in.

plus i found this, its chubfishs posted vid, sped up.

plus :http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=RQGyH2...eature=related
lol,but at the sam time,ouch.

mudling 04-27-2008 12:35 AM

Now I thought the average american dumb blonde woman was stupid, but this....:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ANTDkfkoBaI

Meanwhile, some people just are realy, realy lucky, I mean you could call this skill but I don't think anyone could plan this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zKcBTaTed0Q

and to back up my prejudice against the average american's intelligence (don't get me wrong, there are alot of intellects there):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C6r1I...eature=related

And ok, this isn't true, but still funny (reminisant of Abbot and Costello):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zfwRb...eature=related

Nate 04-27-2008 01:09 AM

The third one is more a testament to the intelligence of the editors than to the unintelligence of the americans.

The amazing thing is that I knew what video you were talking about before I'd even clicked on it.

mudling 04-27-2008 01:54 AM

Yeah, and alot of it contains selective picking and some of it is obviously set up (like how the countries they want always happen to be the ones substitued for Australia), still realy funny though.
Well most Australians would, this is actually the first CNNN thing I saw, I just watch the chasers, may have to hire the DVD.

Havoc 04-27-2008 02:11 AM

Even though that third vid is meant as a joke, I don't think you'd get the same results in a lot of other countries to some of the more basic questions.

That last vid was hilarious, added it to my fav's :D

Mojo 04-27-2008 05:35 AM

Lulz... Wut?

Fuzzle King 04-28-2008 07:07 AM
