I haven't been able to get my hands on the ep. I know it exists. I just can't find it.

Mojo 05-29-2007 03:22 AM

I must add Linkin Park to my list. Damn that Chester can sing! Saw him live yesterday :D.

skillya_glowi 05-30-2007 06:05 PM

I definately love techno/anthem music, like stuff by benny benassi. heard of Gorillaz? I love their music, but my ultimate fave band is thirty seconds to mars

Mojo 05-31-2007 01:14 AM

I got their autographs ^_^

Xavier 05-31-2007 01:22 AM

I'm listening to some Blind Guardian and Iced Earth at the moment... those are great bands for studying :p

Facsimile 06-05-2007 03:48 AM

Hey Xavier, looking at your LastFM I would like to recommend you Symphony X, if you haven't heard them yet.

Xavier 06-05-2007 05:29 AM

Thanks for the recommendation ;)

I've listen a bit of Symphony X before and I like it, I'll try to find some of their albums and listen a bit more.

Modest Mouse..
I really don't know, it just seems a good break from all the stereotypes of music.

yeah...indie is definitely rare these days.

only good techno is apollo 440 and elektro glide in blue

Fortesque13 06-06-2007 04:47 PM

Anyone know any of the 1930's hits? Lawl, but I'm serious. Ever since I downloaded Mafia soundtrack I'm addicted.

Kimon 06-11-2007 02:37 PM

I do believe I'm becoming an indie dork.

My musical choices of the past few weeks have been Bright Eyes, Iron and Wine, Against Me! and Elliot Smith.

I submit, indie music. You have conquered me.

Edit: Ah yes, Talking Heads as well! Gotta love pretentious New Wave. Don't Take My Kindness for Weakness = Myes.

OANST 06-14-2007 09:06 PM

One of the independant record stores near my house drew a little knife on the card that says Elliot Smith. I didn't know if I should laugh or be offended. Ultimately, I laughed.

Get Divine Wings Of Tragedy, grade A album.

Also, if you haven't heard it give Judas Priest's Painkiller a try. That's good fun too

Infection Form 143 06-15-2007 02:56 PM

I'm listening to Jordan by Buckethead.

I'm not to fond of Buckethead himself, but his music kicks a**.

Kimon 06-16-2007 04:55 PM

Why the fuck aren't you talking about Bright Eyes, heathens!?

Lolzords to the knife thing, you geriatric you. :p

Arxryl 06-16-2007 05:04 PM

My parents have just recently bought the Blue October CD "Foiled" and it has some pretty good songs on there. "X amount of words" and "Into the Ocean" are probably my favorites. They have a kind of smooth sound to them and I haven't really listened to anything that sounds like them in a while so it seems refreshing.

mitsur 06-20-2007 03:23 PM

A few songs I've come to love.

To The End - My Chemical Romance
The Ghost of You - My Chemical Romance
Space Monkey - Placebo
The Bitter End - Placebo
The Kids Aren't Alright - The Offspring
Rock Your Socks Off - Tenacious D
Kielbasa - Tenacious D
Wolf Like Me - TV on the Radio
White Light - Gorrilaz

Also, for some reason, I can't stop playing 'Don't Stop Me Now' by Queen. I dunno. Maybe it's because I've seen Shaun of the Dead recently.

Fez 06-21-2007 10:50 AM

Guillemots are rocking my world at the moment. Myspace them noooow!

ANN NEELY 06-23-2007 02:56 PM

Ever since I played Grim Fandango, I've come to absolutely love swing music, especially the 1930's style. I've been listening to the album The Dirty Boogie by Brian Setzer, and it is amazing. It's most likely one of the best albums I've ever heard!

I have also been getting into System of a Down lately.....to my horror(I apparently didn't make that clear enough earlier. I hate most rock music anymore)

OANST 06-23-2007 09:42 PM

I'm sorry.

*High Fives*

A-anyways, I have been listening to more video game music recently. I find that the newer Sonic the Hedgehog games have some pretty good songs like "Live and Learn", "His World", and some other'ns. Yeah.... I'm a Dork.

Alf Shall Rise 06-24-2007 12:30 PM

I've gotten into a White Stripes obsession...

Fortesque13 06-24-2007 12:54 PM

Mafia and The Godfather soundtrack lately...

OANST 06-27-2007 03:55 PM

My girlfriend has been listening to Feist. At first I rejected it because the name made me want to hit the band members but then I discovered that Feist is just the girl's last name. She's pretty good.

Kimon 06-27-2007 03:57 PM

Myes. Feist is very good. When I Was a Young Girl is a favorite of mine. And Mushaboom.

OddjobAbe 07-01-2007 03:39 AM

Currently listening to the Police Squad! theme! Great show.

Daxter King 07-01-2007 07:38 PM

Really listening to alot of random crap lately, though alot of MCR.

Hobo 07-02-2007 02:06 AM

I just ordered two Porcupine Tree CDs. EAT THAT OWF

Fortesque13 07-02-2007 12:14 PM

I do not extract any form of violence amogst the CDs (eating them) except if they just don't feel like being chewed up rightfully in my drive.

Anyways, just started listening to Marc Ecko's getting up soundtrack and the good ol' CD of Louis Armstrong that I got when I was 50 days old...

Alf Shall Rise 07-04-2007 02:09 PM

New band! :spin:

Thousand Foot Krutch! Anyone knows it?

Isn't that Thousand FOOT Krutch?

Rawkfist? Lift Me Up? Stuff like that? It's okay, but it's way too Christian for me.

Which ones? I like Deadwing and Voyage 34 the Complete Trip.

Hobo 07-08-2007 12:02 AM

I bought Deadwing and In Absentia

I feel Deadwing will be a lot easier to get into, but i will enjoy In Absentia a lot more.

But I've only given them one or two listens so far.

Hobo 07-08-2007 12:20 AM

In other news, hense the different post, I'm seeing Metallica at Wembley Stadium today.

Fluid 07-08-2007 03:39 AM
