Wow I just played Xbox LIVE again, and it was so fun. Even though I was splattered several times in Valhalla on Halo 3.

i dunno why but im completely glued to COD 4 online at the moment.I find it so fun and great to play.

I'm currently trying to complete Gears of War on Insane with a friend. It's quite insane indeed! :|

Okay that's not possible... Unless by a day you mean you literally sat for 24 hours.

There are areas in this game which are extremely crazy hard. We just got passed an area where we died at least 40 times over. It's one of those annoying parts where you have to split up :(.

I found that the step up from Hard to Insane isn't nearly as bad as the step up from Casual to Hard.

Though I still haven't beaten RAAM on Insane.

Just completed it, but completing it in one day requires some dedication I recon.

i went through it on hardcore with my friend and havent gotten round to to it on insane yet.straight after we defeated raam on hardcore we done him on insane(just chapter 5) for some reason and oddly enough we took longer killing him on the lower difficulty.

Also; regarding killing RAAM, on Hardcore, it took two tries, the second time I just melee'd him with a grenade and it was instadeath for him.

I just visited a friend and played about with it on his 360. I found it absolutely disorientating, I didn't realise how such an update could possibly feel so invasive.

The avatar thing's cool, but I was disappointed by the lack of customisation options. At least my Mii bears a disturbing similarity to my actual face, it really looks like a cartoon caricature of myself. But the XBox avatar hardly looks like me at all. I gave up and gave him shades and the white suit.

I think next time I'll take advantage of the monocle and make myself a Victorian/Steampunk British avvie.

i like it.its well fun but i dont play it enough.

I've played on PC and 360, PC is obviously better, but there's no real flaws in the 360 version save for the inability to communicate with other players without a headset.
(Back button should open the basic sayings thing at the very least.)
And Valve's working on putting everything the PC version has into a nice, huge, update before christmas.

If you're playing on Live you more than likely have a headset. However, I do understand the allure of not having to speak with 13 year old assholes.

Funny thing is that in the month (and one week) that I've had Live, I've dealt with one 13 year old shithead. It was about ten minutes of me and some other guy (who I added as a friend for being a bro) taunted and made fun of him for being such an asswipe. (Hey man, he started it.) Then the guy was like "Let's mute 'im. I'm a bit bored." and we did so and likely won the round.

Also, there are still plenty of whiny-ass kids in PC games. Especially when you grief.
