Theory-wise, I'm also assuming that's an intern's eyes reflected in the glass, but they look too wide--normally interns have very narrowed eyes and a cynical expression, unless this one is soft-hearted enough to be horrified at what that mudokon is growing through.

So is nobody noticing the symbols on the bottom of the picture that Phoetux posted? Nobody at all? Let's get on it!

Definitely looks like a hand to me, but I don't know what species it belongs to. It looks like there's one too many fingers for it to be a mud, unless the first and second are splayed out and that finger between them is just a trick of the light off the glass.

I'm having a hard time figuring out what runes/symbols match what shade meadows highlighted, it may be a combination of a couple we've used on the past? :\ getting stumped

Yeah, it definitely looks like it may have 4 fingers and a thumb and kinda too stumpy for a Mudokon hand. Vykkers have those pinchy claw things and Interns have those 5 really long fingers... Then again if it WAS a hand pressed up against the glass like it looks like,we would be able to see it pressed up on this side of the glass, wouldn't we?
Unless it's on that side of the glass...

I think the two eyes could be two mudokons, standing right next to eachother, one eye of each showing.

The "hand" looks like it may be a paw to me, also reasonable considering it's at the bottom

You may have a point, I went through the cut scene in MO where the Intern notices Munch isn't in his chair and his eye don't really go THAT wide, their also not as close together as the eyes in the image, but they could just be turned to the side? :fuzconf:
Edit; I'm not sure those things at the bottom is a hand, it looks more like a messed up bottom jaw, also there seems to be more reflected stuff but placed along side the eyes, none of the things I see make sense.

Also... the Hand-Botton-Thingie, reminds me of the tribal symbol for Paramite

I've tidied up the writing scratched into the glass. Does anyone know if this is an IRL script? If not, we'll have to try and decipher it.

I've searched a fair amount and can't find anything like these runes, I've found one or two that match a few of the symbols but not much else.

Can it be a combination of more than one cipher?

Or they can be incomplete on purpose, it seems the "runes" were scratched on the glass, but we cannot tell if it was from the outside or inside... maybe it's reversed or backwards?

The reason I presume the messages are complete is that many graphemes are repeated throughout, althogh you're right that we don't know which order the words go.

I've spent way too much time looking at runic alphabets and I'm afraid if there's a code here we're going to have to do it the hard way and try to map letters on those ourselves.

Im going to see if I can make something out of the eyes

So I've asked the boyfriend if he is able to find anything with the symbols and he found that they mostly seem to be called Brahmi writing. They do match although it seems to be flipped and reversed all over the place.

At first I was seeing two eyes immediately next to eachother, but upon editing it seemed that there's only one.

If it's only one eye I'm betting Vykkers...

We've seen hints at Vykkers so far in some of the previous images so I'm gonna assume that it's a Vykker as well

I think Vykker's eye are too beady to be the ones reflected in the glass.

I'm sticking with my Intern theory, they just resemble the reflected eyes far more than a vykkers to me(just wider, as if it were surprised or something). If we are seeing vykkers then doesn't it make sense that Interns would be hanging around them too?

They really don't look lke mudokon eyes either, so unless by some crazy far fetched chance we are going to see and completely NEW creature/spieces in this sequel, my best guess is Intern.

I did have one idea which doesn't make sense. But it could. but probably isn't, a Grubb (Stranger's Wrath). I've been looking through TOGG and the Wiki to try and figure out what it could be. But I do think an Intern is a real possibility. It makes sense because they work for the Vykkers as Gunnr mentioned. The room itself bears similarities to things we've seen in Munch's Oddysee and for now I'm looking through Munch's Oddysee cutscenes for any instances of a Vykker's handwriting. It would be the.. cherry on top of the cake I guess? I dunno. Maybe I'm wasting time. I've also noticed that when Munch tells the Fuzzles to "Get 'em!" The Intern's eyes are pretty wide. but not as circular(?) If anyone has any ideas or suggestions i'd love to hear them!

Ooooh GUYS! Okay, so I did some tweaking in photoshop and I think I know what the eye is from! I was looking at the picture and I noticed that the right 'eye' didn't really look the same as the left. The 'iris' of the right was a lot more indistinct and if you look above the eyes there is actually another spot that looks similar to the right iris; so I figured the second eye is probably just some grit and I removed it. I also took out all of the diamond lines on the glass and dodged out most of the shadows from the padded walls so the reflection would be clearer. Then I just bumped contrast and burned in some of the areas that seemed like shadows to me.

I'm thinking Vykker. This definitely looks like a Vykker to me :D


EDIT: Here's the second image showing why I took out the other 'eye'.

^ OMG THAT JAW! It really does look like a vykker! I guess the eyes had a little make over in SS? Very cool OrangeLightning;)

Has anyone suggested the eye could be a fuzzle's eye? The part immediately beneath the 'eye' looks like a fuzzle's mouth, with its spiky teeth...

I guess there's fuzzles in that place as the vykkers use them for testing (that's correct, aint it?...)

Saw on the OWI Facebook that someone suggested flipping the photo to decode those scratches on the glass, and they seemed to agree with that approach...

Also, to me, those marks look like a mixture of just good ol' runes and something else. Some of them need rotating slightly and stuff, but yeah?
