well, sort of. as in, you can occur naturally given the right circumstances, but i think most of the time you occur when prompted by an unnatural external source, like a man-made object.

that's pretty confusing so i'll just say you're probably barking up the wrong tree with that one. you can occur both naturally and unnaturally, as well as freak-of-nature naturally/unnaturally, that's the problem.

so yes/no/both.
