We verbally shamed them, physically roughed them up, then they backed off. The guy who started the whole thing [we simply asked them to be more respectful to the ladies] actually came back a few minutes later and apologized, blaming his behavior on booze. No big deal, really.

The only reason it even escalated was the fact that I vaguely knew one of the girls they were being so disgusting towards, and got involved. The ladies took that as an opportunity to step away and go get some beer, and the guy informed me that "It's no big deal, they're just bitches. All women are bitches. That bitch you're sitting next to, she's a BITCH.". The 'bitch' I was sitting next to happened to be Dorian. I don't give a fuck who you are or what the situation is, you need to be nice to my wife.

Elvis loves Dorian as much as I do, albeit in a platonic sense, so we were happy to educate these tools in the ways of chivalry and manners.

Wife. I've had my ass kicked a few times, but thanks to my freakishly high pain tolerance, and the fact that getting punched only makes me angrier rather than slowing me down, I'm rarely worried. My Grandfather also taught me how to box/defend myself when I was younger, as he was a prize fighting bare-knuckle boxer in his younger days. We sparred on a regular basis. Plus I'm sort of a big person. Meh.

But, to be fair, Dorian is sort of a bitch, but she'd have to be to marry someone like me. Come on.

I'm a shy/quiet person for the most part. If we were both in a dark alley at the same time, I'd do my best to put as much distance between us as possible. Social Anxiety is a blast, let me tell you.

Ah but looks can be deceiving.

I don't phone anyone unless I absolutely have to. Except for Elvis, who I try to talk to at least twice a month. The same goes for my biological father. As far as other friends and family, I just don't call. They can wait until we see each other, or text/e-mail me. Although it's the idea of talking to/dealing with the general public/strangers/new people that causes my social anxiety to really flare up and turn me into a quivering pile of jelly.

Prom. I'm the awkward, tall fuck in the middle. One of the socially agonizing nights of my life. There were some great parts, though, such as the afterparty. Haven't got any pictures from it, but here's one of me at a seperate party a few weeks ago, about 5 minutes after projectile vomiting all over my friend's driveway:

Went for a haircut and he straightened it again. This time I told him not to rinse my hair at the end, so I got to experience it for an evening.

I have on many occassions in this thread expressed jealousy towards straight-haired people. That has now been upgraded to a passionate, undying hatred of how lucky you people are. Damn, I liked that hair. Not the way it looked, mind you, but the way it felt and the fact that I could put on my bike helmet, take it off 20 minutes later and my hair would look exactly the same as before.
