My brother came up with this idea. I don't know what exactly made him coming up with that.
Last week, we played a game about telling stories, any stories, and he once said: "...and the hunchback of Notre Dame Quasimodo had a sister, Quasimada." and this gave me a few giggles for the next minutes. Well, it was a quite silly evening that day...

I couldn't resist drawing quickly a picture about that one I got in mind when I heard the name of Quasimada.

I even toyed with the idea to draw the whole family.
Imagen that: Quasimom, Quasidad, Quasimodo, Quasimada, Quasimini (the smallest member of the family), Quasimoron...

I noticed that I got too much comic-styled pictures in my thread now. My gallery badly needed something realistic-lookin' like this. The problem was that I felt too constrained to show you anything in the meantime because pictures like this one take awfuly long...

I like how this picture turned out, in fact, I really like how it turned out. It's the first art of mine with which I'm truly pleased of.

There were also many new things to learn for me, it was a pretty interesting experience. Took long, though... but it was succesful, really. Maybe I'm even gonna do another tutorial about making horns and fur and especially the scales to let you quys know about the new techniques I found out. It's really easy. :)

The colors of the dragons are not the traditional Chinese sort, I guess... I prefered it like this more than the simple green color. The silver color makes it looks older and wiser.
And I like older and wiser.


What's that strange ball it holds in his paw, you ask? Hmm... let's keep it as all the forbidden and captured warm colors in this picture. :lol:

A flight from Switzerland to Salt Lake City takes awfully long. In this time, I took my sketchbook and doodled something.

I thought that I badly need to get practice in drawing my character, the Nightingale. So I made a few sketches about her and thought about her farther story too.

That creature was inspired by the word "lullaby".
When she starts to sing, you'll fall asleep and never wake up.

I thought, it should be a woman because women simply can sing lullabies better then men. And she also had to be something bird-like because of the singing thing.

I don't know how why exactly she looks like that yet. I only know that she was not born like this at all (she was born as a usual human). Probably, it was a life-long curse...

Sometimes she longs for a family and tries to steal eggs of birds. But she never was successful because their mothers protect them too well. So she often has to run away from them.

She only starts to sing her lullaby if there is absolutely no way out like when a python entwines around her or a man tries to rape her...

Ooo, a Nightingale one again. :D

It's about Oedis, after the fight between him and Thrad.

The battle ended with Oedis busting Thrad's arms (rendering them completely useless), just before Shadix (the bad guy) arrived with his guards and captured Thrad himself. Then Oedis told Shadix that he has fullfilled his end of the bargain, but Shadix just activated Oedis' shock bracelet and locked him up again...

That was an inspiration that took me a few hours of sleep because I was pretty busy with drawing the picture I got in mind then.
I think, I even still have dark circles around the eyes from it today...

*becomes mad like an evil genious* Nothing can stop me when I get inspirations!! Muahaha...haha... ha... yawn... *topples down and falls asleep immediately*.
