You ought to up the price of the VIP package to €3 or €5 maybe since it's the only thing you can "buy" which you can't get ordinarily, or keep it the same price but reduce it to a week or so. And I sort of agree with Crashpunk about the tools being not worth paying for, but it's a shame that there's nothing really else in Minecraft that you can buy to make your life easier that isn't cheating so much that it doesn't make the game worth playing properly...

Maybe we should start again and set up a Tekkit world or so once the dust settles on 1.3. I think people would be willing to pay for that since it seems to offer many more gameplay opportunities. Dunno what we'd do about the old world though unless we run it alongside the new world for people to look at, but make it unmodifiable somehow... Or offer it as a download for a limited time.

Sorry, Havoc, I only found out about that glitch today since it kept happening as I was making the original Tower of Pimps on my roof. I don't exactly know what triggers it but I used it to make the cool path and the street lights. Everything that makes my house was gathered legitly and I only used it to make the area look good, nothing of mine. :(

I don't want to make the prices to steep though, I know a lot of you can spare a buck or two but not a whole lot more when it comes to donating. The server bill isn't high enough to warrant such prices anyway and I might even lower the prices off the tools a bit.

Adding a second server would only double the server bill so if we were to do that I want to cover 100% of the cost and that would probably mean charging a fee for it. It would probably be 2 or 3 euro a month to fully cover it with out current player base. I'm not sure if everyone is willing to do that every month?

Oddman360 has been banned from the server on suspicion of hacking and cheating. In his house were at least 40 diamond blocks, over a hundred gold blocks and loads of iron and glowstone blocks. He has been on the server for far too short to gather such amounts of resources.

His defense is that the server glitches his inventory and duplicates items randomly. I've talked to Dark about this and he agreed that it's a kind of weak excuse and even if it is true, common sense would dictate to not use those blocks and destroy them.

All gold and diamond has been rolled back or destroyed and Oddman's house and other possessions are off limits until further notice.

Edit: I forgot to mention that he has also been seen flying on several occasions while being a Trial member. Strong indicator of a hacked client.

For oddman's flying problems, he told me that he uses this high jump program that was installed I believe. Idk exactly what it is to be honest (he told me but i forgot). He said it sometimes glitches and makes him stay in the air for a bit.

I forgot what day it was, but if you still have the chat log for that certain day, it might help you indicate a hacked client or not.

Also I want to thank him for making me king of Ch-Ching, but i was confused where he got the riches myself. I know i went mining gold with him b4, but to get alot of diamonds and gold seemed to confuse me too much.

Hope this griefing doesn't happen again. Someone decided to fuck my generator earlier b4 oddman360 was banned. They took some repeaters.

Oh, apparently, Idk how but oddman's house was burned to the ground. Still remains left but, wow.

It's not really weak, there's no other way to get free items. You can't cheat in stuff on servers, mods only work locally. I explained that it only started happening since you updated the server, everything I got in the month before that was proper mining.:fuzsad:

Edit: I haven't done any griefing Destro, and to get all the stuff I had before this, I mined in that big cave and explored nearly all the parts of it we hadn't and there was a dungeon. I also found a mineshaft, not your one though I went really far out to find it, it was inside some ravine when I was looking for roses to make my carpet.

Uhm... So I tried using the rollback plugin around Oddman's house for 5 hours ago as Havoc left it after getting rid of the diamond and gold blocks (yeah I know it seems like Oddman cheated and all but that's no reason to burn down his house) and it constantly wanted to spontaneously combust for some reason. :S It's fixed now though.

Why did you get rid of my gold blocks?! I got them before the glitch. The only items glitched in my house was the second floor carpet and the diamond borders. The first floor is completely fine, you'll notice under stuff like bookshelves I haven't placed gold blocks, that's because I didn't want to waste my inventory for stuff you couldn't see. If I'd glitched the gold blocks, I wouldn't have minded, and I would've completely filled the border with them.

Obviously you are stupid then, I told you, I only found out about the glitch yesterday afternoon. I had my house and all the shit in it before yesterday except the Diamond Blocks and the second floor carpet. You're too busy ranting at me when there is a serious flaw I've told you but you're ignoring it.
EDIT:Flying around has NOTHING to do with getting items, it's not important.
EDIT2: I'll give you a list of items I managed to glitch in the timeframe that I had when it happened and a semi-estimate amount:

Gold Blocks x67~ (Used for the "PIMPS" sign, I had spare gold after)
Red Wool x21~ (Used on second floor)
Diamond Blocks x52~ (Used only on 2nd and 3rd floor borders)
Glowstone x117~ (Used on path and street lights)
Roses x196 (Didn't get around to using)

Nothing else was glitched, no iron, no coal, no lapis, absolutely nothing else. I did however, have around 13 gold blocks legit that I used a ton of my gold for the bottom floor.

Ok, so you found a glitch and abused it to give yourself lots of items that would otherwise be very hard to obtain. It's alright, though, because you mined all of your iron legit!

You can't on purposely trigger it, how many time do I have to tell you, I didn't even know roses were very hard to get, thanks for telling me.

Look, you were flying and spawned in blocks (doesn't matter which kind). Even if you were telling the truth you admitted to having a 'high jump program' installed which is cheating non the less, so your ban stays in place.

But frankly I don't believe anything of what you're saying. As far as I'm concerned you are using a hacked client that gives you the ability to fly and spawn blocks at will and that won't be tolerated on our server.

They are hard to get if you look for them in ravines. Personally, I use bonemeal on grass.

You can count your glitched items all you like, but you still used them instead of saying anything about the server being glitchy or something. Either way, arguing about it goes nowhere, you don't need to justify yourself anymore, it is no longer a concern. Your house will probably become a memorial, as usual in such cases.

So you're not going to bother trying to find out the cause for the block problem? And it's not a client, it's only a high jump mod, my screenshots are proof I have no clients installed. I've also told you blocks are handled client-side, it's impossible for a mod to spawn blocks, mods only work locally.

EDIT: I did mention it... I said the server's item handling is buggy on the first screenshot.

It doesn't matter how it happened. You obtained blocks through illegitimate means, be it deliberate or not. You then used these blocks rather than saying anything about them.

For clarity, we don't care how you got them. We care that you used them.

I guess you missed the part before this happened that I said the server handles items strangely. How about you just go check before you make assumptions that I never said anything about it. You do care how I got them, otherwise the server wouldn't tell us to report any bugs we find, I'm pretty sure this is some form of bug report. You're not worried someone else might join in future and find the same problem and maybe do more stuff with it?

Most people on servers if they get free diamond and stuff out of nowhere, they're going to want to use it, this should have come as no surprise to you when someone finds a glitch like this. Don't be so shocked when it happens and somebody manages to somehow use it, it's what happens when a person manages to do something like it, I'm no different.

If a glitch caused me to get free diamonds I'd throw them into lava.

Saying the server 'handles items strangely' is not in the least bit bringing a bug to our attention, much less is a lack of response a green light to go ahead and take advantage of it.

For the purpose of being able to make a judgement call on whether we trust you to have access to the server, we don't care how you got them.

And if someone does retain cheated items and is discovered and punished, I should hope they don't act so indignant. It stands to reason that if you cheat, we aren't going to be happy. As it happens, I trust the vast majority of people with server access to dispose of their illicit gains all by themselves. We're a whitelisted server exactly because we don't want any old glitch-abusing scoundrel to set up camp.

No, you misinterpreted my posts in the first place, I said I explained what happened because your server said to report bugs, then you started saying you didn't care about it, which means you don't care about bug reports despite the fact you're the ones asking for them. Go back and read it all through again then maybe it will make sense to you.

If you think that it's okay to use exploits as long as you off-handedly mention it, you've clearly never played an MMO before.

I'm not on about me exploiting the glitch, you guys said I never mentioned it anywhere, I pointed out where I first said it, you guys ignored it, so I had to explain it again, then you started whining on about it and saying you didn't care about how it happened. Since you didn't care about how it happened, you obviously don't care about glitches on your server which contradicts the server telling users to report bugs. Wil replied to me when I said you do care about how it happened otherwise the server wouldn't ask for it saying they judge if you're trusted on the server. That's completely unfair meaning if someone posts a bug report they might get banned.

You have to talk to other members like that or you don't get your point across and you get called a 'whiner' when it makes no sense, not saying you do it crashpunk but a majority of the people on here act like assholes unless you talk to them like that.

Let me make this clear for you.

1. Items were glitching and you decided to post a screenshot and very vague comment about it.

2. Instead of getting rid of glitched items you decided to use them while any sort of common sense would dictate that you can't do that.

3. I have not heard of any sort of replication glitches since early beta days and not a single other person on the server has had this problem. I've not seen any bug reports on any Minecraft related sites that complains about this since 1.3 but if you can find some then please share a link.

4. You were seen flying (not just jumping high, which is not okay either, btw) on multiple occasions and you blamed this on a glitch as well which non of us has been able to duplicate either.

5. All of the above are strong indications that a client side hack is involved. And yes this is very possible and documented time and time again, which you know very well.

6. Based on all of the above you have been banned permanently and it will not be lifted so I suggest you stop putting energy into trying to convince us otherwise.

You can't have looked far at all, the way that happened to me is one of many ways I've found out this can happen. Do a search on YouTube for craftbukkit 1.3.1 duplication glitch. I guarantee you there will be at least a few on there reporting the bug, maybe not the same as me but a bug that has the same outcome.


I never blamed it on a glitch, I said on the server I was using a mod but took it off when I was told I can't have it...

I removed it when I was told I wasn't allowed to fly and read your post, the client only allowed highjumping, waypoints(which really I just used to find my house after I went far out looking for animals) and flying which in itself is strange since I could get hurt by things on the ground.

I can imagine Havoc with a judges wig whilst reading that.
