Ya I don't think I'll get a Wii anytime soon. Since some of you suggest a PS3 I might go with that. But between PS3 ad Xbox it's hard to decide. It's very hard. I don't have much money right now, but I'm sure their prices have dropped so I might just get both. I presume the new Stranger will have enhanced gameplay aside from graphics (as a given). Maybe even new levels to make the last rebellion section longer?? I hope the weapons are enhanced too and the strange difficulty curve is leveled out a bit, but not too much. I like a challenge. I just remember Packrat Palooka being really freaking hard.

Just what game console you'd suggest over the other, since I have neither, for gaming in general. (sorry it's kind of off topic.) Because of what you told me this doesn't really excite me anymore. Better graphics won't make a game more fun. What's the point of spending money on the same game that looks prettier?

It's not really meant to excite you, seeing that you've already played it. Thing is most people didn't. OWI and JAW need to get Oddworld's name out there again if they plan on making any new games. Doing a graphical update to an old game is a cheap and quick way to do this.

Personally, I think it's a smart move. I don't have an original Xbox anymore, so I would love to replay Stranger's Wrath. Plus, it's so easy to sit on your couch and push a button, instead of having to go out of your way to buy it at a store.

Seeing as that is majorly offtopic, I would recommend you ask it somewhere else. Preferably in another forum, as fanboy wars annoy me.

Sorry, we're not looking at anything on Wii at all. As, and I hate to say this, but it's not a financially viable platform unless you ARE Nintendo.

It's amazing how many people criticise Wii purely for the amount of bad games on that system. There are tons of bad DS games and bad PS2 games, yet they are still regarded as the best consoles ever.

Good games for the Wii do exist. Call of Duty Modern Warfare / Black Ops, No More Heroes 2, Super Mario Galaxy 2, Resident Evil 4, Super Smash Bros Brawl to name but a few. Stranger's Wrath's control system would be quite well suited to the Wii (even thought Oddworld Inhabitants hasn't dealt with Nintendo since the Gameboy Advance).

If they want to stick with 360 and PS3, I wouldn't blame them. The least they could do is make a WiiWare 2D puzzle-platform adventure. If the Wii is soooo bad, why is Sony copying them with the Kinekt? =P

Sony and Kinect? You mean Sony and Move, and I agree with you, but it's JAW's choice - if they choose PS3, I will be glad with it. I still love oddworld even more than before.

I'm not trying to bash the Wii, but if you want to be fair you will have to admit that half of those games have better versions on the other consoles.

I would love it there would be a very hard difficulty in the game, I don't like easy games that much. But please let, if you want to make them in future games if not for Stranger, available from the start! I hate to replay games just to beat the higher difficulty. Let me face it from the beginning!

And me is very glad there won't be a Wii version for sure. Better spend your time on usefull developement :)

Even if it does release on XBLA, my Xbox doesn't have the space, so I'm screwed either way. At least I still have the original Xbox version, and there's always the Steam port I guess.

Just curious, how big is your Xbox hard drive and what do you have on there that takes up so much space?
