I don't like Buckethead's music that much, but he's a really good guitar player.

Partly this, I'm a fan of him but in all honesty half the shit he churns out is horse wank. In saying that, he does have a good amount of gems under his belt.

Parenthetical Girls have been releasing new EPs which are more conventionally pop orientated. I'm not sure what to think of it yet. But they made an awesome cover of The Smith's Handsome Devil.

funny, i love the gummo soundtrack. and i fucking love parenthetical girls, not so much their new shit their churning out in parts (how wanky), but Entanglements is suuuuch a good album. lyrically they have always been outstanding, topically about blatant sexual physicality and sometimes pedophilia that a lot of people seem to never talk about, which is great. i particularly like how potent a metonym the vocalist creates with menstrual blood, it is something i've assimilated into my own wayz of thinkingz
