I think that JAW are likely to make an HD version of AE. That's as far as I am prepared to commit my faith.



Also, bear in mind that the post you're quoting suggests that 'Oddworld I.a' would be a good title. I'm worried that you're taking it seriously.

I spent a portion of the second half of today finding a way to import the name suggestion emails into Excel. It was surprisingly easy, but it gave us a chance to look at some of the suggestions. I kid you not, one was "Abe's Sexy Tapes" and another was "Sligs Gone Wild".

Anyway, there were nearly four thousand suggestions when I left work today. Fuck knows how we're going to look through them all.

Sort the Excel sheet alphabetically and then start cutting out duplicates. That should reduce your workload.

Or better yet: look at all suggestions made by Jordan and ignore everything else yes goodbye

Or y'know just pick Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee HD.

That would work well but would only be fair if there's a sort-by-date option, or if they could be added to the spreadsheet in the order they were received.

We all posted ideas here for the world to see, no doubt in good faith it was first come first served with titles! Would be devastating if we were wrong, as someone is bound to have copied them / had the same ideas by now!

Assuming he's storing the date in the spreadsheet, it's easy peasy to sort by title, then date. Or he could just sort by title, choose the best one, and then observe the date tags.

Oh well, at least stupid names like that will make the mundane job of looking through them all more entertaining.

JAW, maybe give just the name... Oddworld. Yes! Or The Oddworld. Abe's Oddysee is the beginning and it invites audience to the depths of this dark place. It's simple, and not at all is necessary for giving everyone and everywhere the "Abe's Oddysee" hint. Also, AOHD is going to welcome many many new people to the series. "Oddworld" is minimal but very mysterious and deep.

A parody of 2001 : A Space Odyssey, 2013 relating to the year of release however I think the number really should relate to the year in the Oddworld universe.

There's very little censorship of swearwords in Australia. A month ago a guy was fired in Brisbane for telling his boss to get fucked, but the courts forced his employers to hire him back again, as that's not considered inappropriate behaviour in the workplace.

In Australia I'd bloody well hope so. That kind of brash honesty is the soul of the place.

With the launch of the Stranger PC closed beta, the number of meetings recently and, on a more personal note, buying a house, I haven't found the time to look through the submissions yet.
