Well if you like redstone contraptions so much, I'll see my own calculator and raise you a redstone music piece. Particularly this one or parts of it. Would be way more awesome than a calculator now that I think about it.

Before requesting stuff like that, you have to ask yourself: Would this song work with the available short beat sounds that noteblocks can make? (harp, piano, snare, guitar, drum)

Personally I think it's too complex, would try to make it anyway, then get disappointed with the result at the end 'cause of noteblock limitations. They can only make short sounds, not long, basey ones like the original song has.

I'm going to attempt to join the worlds today (starting now). What this will mean is the following:

The server will be either offline or not accepting players until I'm sure everything is working. If you do manage to get in, anything you build from now until I'm finished will be gone next time you log in. So please wait until everything is done.

I will be deleting several chunks around the current stronghold and everything behind that. It should respawn the stronghold decently.

I'll also be giving Exoddus and Genesis a spot in the Ma'spa world. The exact locations will be made known later.

Ofcourse I will be hanging on to today's original savegame files so if you find that I accidentally excluded one of your creations please let me know so I can put them back in.

Wish me luck!

Update 1: Copied Genesis entirely (13 million+ blocks) to Ma'spa. Deleted a bunch of chunks around the incomplete stronghold and a lot of explored but useless ocean chunks near the Mushroom biome (kept that intact).

I'm not doing this again, just importing Genesis is taking hours (saving the file right now). If you guys want jungles that badly you're going to have to find a different way to do it.

Well then maybe we should have saved this project for after the update? Not having all the updates would suck, and I'm pretty sure most people here would want jungles.

Yeah but the way Minecraft currently updates sucks and would mean having to change the world each time they decide to throw in something new that affects world generation. That's simply not something I can do, it's too much work and takes too long. Best I can do is generate you new worlds to play around in but I won't copy the entire map over each time they update something.

Also I appear to have fucked up when copying Genesis and only copied the layer of bedrock. Selected all chunks this time which comes to a total of 400 million blocks. Find something else to do today because I don't think the server will be back up before midnight.

but but but my circuits! I couldn't finish them last night because Wil and Ench were off galavanting in parts unknown, which slows down the server and fucks up redstone/piston combos.

Dammit! Now I'll have to be sociable. Or I suppose I could do some extra work on AbeHD...

First line spawns a single jungle tree sapling. From that we can grow it and get more to grow our own jungle. It won't be genuine jungle, sure, but we can at least introduce ocelots to it, which is where the second line comes in.

The third line gives me a couple of wheat to breed them. Although you don't breeds cats with wheat, or ocelots at all, so it's a bit pointless.

Ok, Genesis and Exoddus have both been imported and I'm saving the map now. Obviously it's impossible to match it up with existing land exactly, also because the water level has changed between versions. So yes, there will huge walls of new lands sticking out. Nothing a few loads of dynamite or dedicated mining won't fix though.

Spawnmob doesn't support Ocelots yet I think and I can't find the spawnegg in the creative menu.

BTW last night I made a temporary roller coaster by the cathedral which I intend to remove later (perhaps in a week or so) since it looks fugly and isn't legitimately spawned. Just spent the past half an hour making it more fun... :) But enjoy it while it lasts 'cause it's definitely not staying very long.

Server has been updated to Craftbukkit 1.1-R4.


In addition I've also removed the /back command entirely. It's been used as a cheap way of overcoming a death by being able to retrieve most, if not all of your stuff. In my opinion that takes a lot of the fun and suspense out of the game. For that same reason the warp command has been taken out as well. Let's get back to MC basics here, shall we?

I don't know how many people will agree with the idea though, so if there's an overwhelming voice against it then I will put it back the way it was. But I suggest we at least try it this way for a while.

Unfortunatly I've also had to install a chest lock mod, since stuff has been stolen multiple times from people's chests (diamond blocks, most notably). You can lock any unlocked chest by hitting it with a stick. Ops have the ability to lock chests for other persons trough the /scl as command.
Anyone else can add people to their trust list with the /scl trust command. This means that anyone on that list will have access to your locked chests.

AFK mechanism has changed. You now go AFK after 2 minutes of being idle. When AFK you are frozen in place and invulnerable. You exit AFK mode with the /afk command. AFK players are no longer kicked after 10 minutes.

After the little incident with the Enderdragon I've removed the ability to spawn one. Not 100% sure if it works yet, would have to test that somewhere quiet.
