So, is our grand stronghold exploration scheduled to the 1st of June then? Splat finished the track leading to the Longhouse, and I've been gathering some supplies there, including food, armor, bows and arrows, in case anyone is short when we venture out.

Actually it's not quite finished; I'm out of iron, so only supports exist for part of the way - no tracks. Also, the rail entering the lighthouse station from the west doesn't stop the cart properly, and Edd's not here to tell me what I'm doing wrong. :(

I haven't been on the server today, but yesterday I took a look at your track - It looks very good although I only rode it one way and warped back home 'cause I'm a cheating scumbag. That was after I extended the path to the stronghold entrance tunnel. I'll have a look tomorrow though. Maybe I can go mine some iron and finish it for you or something.

Back then I said I didn't know if I was going yet or not which is why I said nobody should've delayed anything on my behalf. Seems I'm not going until June maybe - But hey at least I'll be still around for your stronghold opening.

Yeah about a month (or maybe 2 months?) ago MyMcAdmin got updated and we lost the whitelist. I added as many as I could remember but must've missed a few. Sorry 'bout that, it's fixed now. Your minecraft name is simply Manco and not AmazingManco or something like that, right?

Also yesterday I did a little bit of caving in Minecraft, on the server, for the first time in ages, it was quite fun. I found a yellow record "13", and got enough iron, coal and gold to finish off the track to the Stronghold long house.

It is in fact AmazingManco. Manco was already taken.

Thanks Edd, I've just put in the stone supports for the tracks to the Longhouse. But the station under he lighthouse still doesn't work; i just got stuck there on the horizontal unpowered rail before the launch rail.

Three more things await completion in the Ma'Spa rail network.

The North Desert line, between Nikki's lodge and Nile Village, needs to be finished.
The East Line doesn't yet reach Exoddus - still waiting for Robert to build the station there.
The South Line will eventually cross the south desert to Manco's fortress.

I probably won't work on this any more until after the stronghold raid, since I need to dedicate some time to preparing for that. I'm out of iron for more track, too (as ever).

Just a heads up - Something's popped up. I can't make 9pm on Friday 1st, but I'll probably be around between 9:30pm and 10:00pm.
Don't wait for me though. Just start without me and find someone else to film the event in the mean time.

Still concerned about doing this all in one... I'm not sure I want to take my diamond armour, epic bow, stash of golden apples and so on into the potentially lethal stronghold. Would people be annoyed if we gave time after the fortification of the End Portal/before the entry to the End for people to go and gather their raid gear/put away their common gear?

My common gear is my most expensive and powerful so I'll just keep it all on :)

EDIT: I just went onto the server to collect my stuff from Exoddus and decided to check around the world because I haven't been there in a while. I when to the Golden Apple Temple and....well...

Old news, friend - it's been gone for yonks. They beat me to it; I was going to use its power to found a dark empire. The escape tunnel I was building that was gonna come out of one of the unmarked graves in the crypt was left totally defunct, and then someone died and took the grave. And then Havoc moved the desert and removed the little I'd gotten around to building (it was very little though)...



Anyway, the point is, it's been gone since forever and it wasn't my fault, but I wish it had been. :)

I am uncertain as to which defecation you are referring, but if you mean the raid, then it is happening this Friday at 9PM British Summer Time.

Er, so apparently, my prediction (let's call it that) in my Golden Apple of Exodus comic came true? It was Newbie!

Hm, time for a new comic, I guess. After the 6th, perhaps, when I'm done with my exam.

Gentlemen! Raid-Day is tomorrow! 9PM BST, and some other time wherever you are! Pack your shizzle and get ready for action: Here thar be dragons!

The evening will proceed in two parts; I suggest we donate approximately an hour to the exploration of the Stronghold and the neutralisation of the silverfish spawner in the portal room. We'll try not to delay too long in heading down into the ground; we only really need a group for the raid, so don't expect us to wait to open the stronghold if you arrive half an hour late. Please recall the silverfish prevention rules, and remember, they can dwell in smooth stone, cobble stone and (not cracked or mossy) stone bricks.

Then a quick stop for re-equipping, crumpets and bio will lead us on to approximately 10PM BST (give or take, depending on any delays and size of stronghold and such), at which point we will congregate in the Portal Room itself before heading into the End. Pack your pumpkins, your bows and your arrows! Organisation of the raid party will be dependant on who turns up. If anyone has a huge stash of splash-potions of healing and fancies being a healer, apply within!

If'n'when we kill it, the Enderdragon Egg should be harvested by anyone equipped to do so, and placed within a secure storage vault that I intend to build in Ma'Spa at some point very soon. Fun as stealing stuff for ill-advised and not-thought-out adventures is, this thing is literally unique, so I request that it be stored and taken care of carefully until Jeb thinks of a use for it.
Stronghold exploration can continue after the raid, for the sake of people with limited time, and cracked and mossy stone bricks will be harvested later and shared between all participants by someone who can be trusted/bothered. Probably Edd, since he gets all the horrible jobs on the server. End Stone... I have no idea. Perhaps we'll do the same thing, though more time for responsible planning might be required there.

Voice chat seems a good plan as ever, but can I suggest we make a move to Skype as it's less intensive than using Steam, and raiding is tough enough on the RAM.


If Hulaabeo is about then I'm all for giving him the honour of opening the stronghold and getting the first faceful of creeper since he was the first to commit time and effort into finding it.

There's space for personal chests in the Longhouse of the Dragonslayers if you want to take any stuff there in advance, and the Longhouse is most easily reached by riding the West Line from Ma'Spa Depot (it's the blue line at the very top of the station - carts can be found in a chest in the station - please leave them in Dragonslayer Station in the chest there when you arrive, unless you've made and brought one yourself) all the way to its terminus at Dragonslayer Station - I'll try and update Ma'Spa Depot's directory tonight if I remember.

That's all I can think of right now. I've got to move my own stuff to the longhouse and produce a suitable vault for the Egg (not sure how much effort I'll put in - it can be epic-ified at a later date).

I won’t be able to make it tomorrow as I’m attending a party. However, I can offer temporary secure storage of the egg via my vault in Death Mountain if needed.

I'm working on building a vault in Ma'Spa - it's shaped like a giant Dragon Egg, and it's near The End Station, near my Enderman. I really want to give it a two-lever four-piston door though, like the gates in Exoddus, but my redstone skill is non-existent. For now I'll give it iron doors but Edd, can I impose upon you to put redstone leading to the pistons? Before the raid or after - whenever you can. Sorry to impose again.

Yeah I can do that - Funny that, I even replicated that particular circuitry today for the RF project. Also you can find it being used for Crashpunk's fortress and the retractable bridge in front of the enderman - The chamber is under the cathedral side of the channel.

Easiest way to make the dragon egg drop: make it fall onto a torch - like mining gravel. Destroy the block under the block it's standing on, put a torch there, and then destroy the block the egg is on.
Egg Vault is ready; it's near the giant Enderman in Ma'Spa, and it's made of obsidian and shaped like a dragon egg.

Anyway, I'm prepared for the event, I did brew a couple of splash regeneration potions recently, you guys might want to gather around me occasionally to get healed. I also made a couple stacks of arrows, some sets of iron armor and plenty of food - all available in the Longhouse for those in need.

For those who don't know, the Longhouse is connected to the train network. You have to take the line towards the lighthouse, it'll take you to the Longhouse.

Was he? Not sure - first time I heard about the stronghold's location, it was Edd who said anything about it. Then I ventured out with an Eye of Ender to locate the place, and went down in that cave to find a cracked stone brick block. I think it was after that when Hula established his entrance to the place - the area was untouced when I first went there.

I am so not ready, but I'll see everyone on there and we'll see what happens.

It's annoying that I arranged my plans for tomorrow seeing as it could have easily been the next day, but I'm hardly going to cancel on her. This is the girl from my blog, by the way.

Just make sure someone films so that I don't miss out completely. I might jump on voice chat for a bit before she's due to arrive just to see where you're at.
