The rank indicates our server's position within the Gametracker listings. I think it's decided by how many people are playing on the server and for how long.

I have an idea for something we could all have. You might of seen I've got the OWI logo on the back of my skin.

Well I was thinking we could all have it on our skins as like a Clan tag or something. I've made a psd. template. It's in the attachments. :p

Obviously you need photoshop, Put your skin on the skin layer and then save as png. Simple!

Can you make custom capes yet?

You can mod the game so it looks like you have a cape put you can't get one legit. You can make a custom one but again, its not a legit cape

The GIMP can work with .psd files.

The funny thing is... The GIMP is my favourite image editing program!

I've been playing around in MCedit, you can do a lot of stuff in that program :eek:. I always thought it would be complicated to use but while testing I copied the entire Exoddus settlement to a completely different world in less than 5 minutes.

In the future I might use it to stitch all current worlds together (like Dark suggested a while ago, I think). Right now it's quite messy with the seperate worlds and stuff (that and I'm not sure if The End works properly if you manage to get there from Ma'spa). Only downside would be different biomes around Genesis and Exoddus. But we'll cross that bridge when we come to it, it's not something critical. Fun program in any case.

I really had a hard time using MCEdit. I found the controls really hard to use.

Really? I thought the entire flying around thing made it as easy as it could get. If you just map the controls the exact same way as in Minecraft it's pretty easy.

If we end up stitching all the worlds together, I’d love to see some crazy implementation of it. Like, Genesis and Exoddus (which are no longer being explored) get cut out and put on isolated islands connected only by some bigass bridges.

Well I was planning on putting Exoddus base in the Ma'spa desert somewhere, there's more than enough room for it. As for Genesis the island idea might work, though Genesis is HUGE. Finding a spot for it might be difficult.

How big are the oceans east and west of Ma'Spa? How big would they be if you deleted the broken chunks?

I don't know, because for some reason Ma'spa won't show up when I want to load a world in MCedit.

EDIT: Just got it working. The oceans around Ma'spa are interupted by land due to the seed corruption. If I delete as much of the ocean as possible without touching the mainland it might regenerate properly. But there's not enough ocean right now to even remotely fit Genesis, if that's what you're wondering.

There was a lot of activity on the server yesterday, which mainly involved a relatively large Steam voice chat group showing Glitcher around Ma'Spa and RuptureFarms. We tested some of the adventury traps there (I may have died in a lava pit with quite a bit of stuff on me), and then we discovered a weird contraption on the ground floor.

Then this happened.

By the way, for anyone struggling with their PCs with Minecraft, there's a new mod called Optifine which is apparently very good for those with bad FPS counts or crappy pcs. Might be worth a shot.

Last night resulted in not one, but two attempts at building a house scuppered by a number of people.
