Shriekers look a lot like Slogs. Just like the Poacher is remeniscent of the hammerhead alien.

Screamers weren't from tremors 2, they were from the self titled movie "Screamers" - which probably beats the hell out of tremors 2.

I say probably because I haven't seen that movie. Apparantly, Screamers was filmed on the site of disused and depleted uranium mines in northern russia, hence the slow and factory like buildings.

Screamers makes my top 10 list of all time favourite movies.

For all those who don't know; late in the 21st-century on a far-off mining planet ravaged by war, a colonel abandoned by his superiors tries to cross the desert to negotiate peace with his decimated rivals. In attempting the crossing he and his one-man crew have to contend with a race of weapons who've programmed themselves to kill any living being. Based on "Second Variety," a short story by Philip K.
