I know it's broken in the original concept art but it's certainly not in the main game. I guess the concept just carried over?

Was just wondering since someone I know, whose mother is in a wheelchair, was questioning the concept when he saw me playing Munch HD.

There's also the point that Munch is adapted for life at sea, and the wheels let him move faster than he could otherwise. The wheelchair itself is a reminder that he's fleeing from a bunch of mad doctors, as well as being quite a recognisable, empathetic image for the audience.

Those were my reckons. But they didn't seem to satisfy what was considered the (his self-admitted not too logical but more emotional feelings) seemingly trivialisation of the need for a wheelchair. Considering his mother being wheelchair dependent created a very difficult strain on his family growing up.

So I was wondering if there was a direct quote from the MO dev team on the matter.

It wasn't a serious issue but just a little conversation we had and I said I'd consult the experts!

I'm tired right now, but I expect the "Munch: The Heart" and "Munch's Oddysee" sections of TFTY have some design quotes on his wheelchair.

Because the contest winners won a poster of the boxart, not the Jonny Eveson posters, and I haven't been able to sit down and actually design them yet, let alone get them printed and distributed.

Mine has official JAW-punched pinholes in the corners.

Oddworld merch is something we've all been wanting forever now. And Limited Edition signed posters would be a perfect thing to start selling.

I actually made these for my girlfriend one time, I'd never eaten nor prepared crab meat so I wasn't sure what I was getting into.

They actually turned out okay though, better than expected atleast.

I've literally just realised Scrab cakes are meant to be savoury.

It took me a long time too, they look so pastry-like.

I'd always imagined them as some kind of sickly meat French Fancie. Thick sugary icing with a core of gooey Scrab purée,* possibly with spongecake inbetween.

The idea always struck me as gross (as intended), but not totally outrageous. Back in þe day when meat was considered a luxury, it was very common to put it in puddings, candies and the like.

Thats it. If Oddworld starts producing a type of Haribo-Mix, (scrab cakes, paramite pies, elum chubs, mudokon pops etc) I would love them forever... Not that i don't already..

What's next for oddworld? Any new games coming out anytime soon? I want to get immersed in the oddworld atmosphere again but nothing new coming out (for pc at least).

If you guys are going to start making a new game, you can use unreal engine 4, it looks absolutely fantastic and should help to make a great looking game relatively easily.

New 'n' Tasty is coming out for PC at some point. If it does well they'll probably start working on the Exoddus remake.

And the PC version of Munch's Oddysee HD.... bwahahahaha! I can't say that with a straight face.
