Have you got any kind of reference images? for any of the products you mentioned? I found a decent "high"-res image of meech munchies.

It'd be best if you asked/looked around on this forum, because I'd bet someone at one time or another has already remade the posters ;)


I have had a look on TOGG there are some on there but they are at an angle not sure I can use this.

I'm going to see what the posters will look like if I scan them from the art of oddworld book.

Hey I made a label type thing like what's on the side of the factory. And Scanned the Mud pops and touched up the one where it's showing each part of a Mudokon. Feel free to use them :)

I really like the new lighting.

This project is something I really look forward to being finished, even if it takes a very long time!

its taking a bit longer than i expected, theres a load of little fiddly bits to be completed in rupturefarms. hopefully i wont have so many to do for the rest of the game now that theyre done.

the lighting is something im fiddling with all the time, trying to get the atmos just right.

i do have a sort of demo (alpha) of the game, BUT it old abe and nothing like the level id like to release, just a colection of random commands and object tests.

i think its best to wait a lil bit longer for a full demo, one thats worth playing.

yeah i'm working on this on my own, the missus is also helping with some of the textures. i do have a programer but i'm not too sure how much time he can dedicate at the moment which is one of the delays. so im always looking for a good, dedicated games programer willing to carry out this project, which is turrning out to be quite big. when it comes to programing i know near enough nothing, but i have used unity briefly (the game engine that was used so far) but none of the codeing aspects of it.

I remade the escape poster/billboard as well, I did notice that you already have one but I didn't know whether that was a place holder or what and I wanted to remake it :) I like the outcome. Although it could be a tad less faded, what does everyone else think?

Edit: I also had another Idea for removing the two number spots and putting a black spot which would have the number of employees left in the same sort of digital fashion as the casualties/escapees board.

True, I'm not 100% sure on what the UV layer is but if I'm correct is this the layer that shows reflections etc? and can be made from the original is kind of blue looking with pink edges? or is that the reflection map which is seperate? I don't really know a whole lot about 3D texturing just the top layer sort of stuff haha. Do you have any requests for me to make something?

Oh true that makes sense, several textures in one file right. like for example GTA 4 uses several dds images inside their file type?

Ah true, do you know where I could find a version that I could make look clearer like I did the other?

I made some more even though you didn't request them :P I made, the electricity switch, Zulag sign and the Scrab sign which is a bit different from the Original one but fairly similar.

Edit: I did actually fix up those patchy bits on the Scrab one. Didn't actually realise because I was using a different background when I was editing it.
