Of course I remember you, AIN! I still love you.

Chocolate Hunter 01-04-2009 08:40 AM

I looked like this a year ago:

http://file036a.bebo.com/8/large/200...660367051l.jpg

I don't have any recent photographs because whenever a camera comes into my line of sight I instinctively dive behind the nearest couch/lampost, depending on where I happen to be. Since this was at my birthday, it's kind of hard to avoid cameras. Damn photo opportunities! DAMN THEM ALL TO HELL!

Hobo 01-04-2009 01:40 PM

I don't understand the women phobia of cameras, every picture of me ends up looking like this:

http://photos-a.ll.facebook.com/phot...64688_1446.jpg

And I don't run from them. That said, you appear to have no reason to run from them anyway.

I don't understand the women phobia of cameras

It appears to be instilled in us even before birth. Pregnant women go for routine ultrasound examinations and if the baby is female then she will invariably try to hide as much of her partially-formed facial features as possible behind the umbilical cord.

If, however, women are caught on camera (especially people like me), the second before the photo is taken their faces contort into what looks like an expression of disgust/bewilderment, and their eyes half-close to give the distinct look of inebriation. I don't drink but I always look drunk in photos.

Hobo 01-04-2009 02:04 PM

I do drink. And look drunk in photos.

Coincidence?

Chocolate Hunter 01-04-2009 02:10 PM

... probably not.

What you should do when you're drunk is wear very dark glasses and prop yourself up against the nearest table. Then when people take photos you'll just seem 'cool' instead of 'drunk'. The idea's stupid enough to work, I tell ya!

Hobo 01-04-2009 03:18 PM

Dark glasses? Remaining close to firmly place objects?

Everyone'll think I'm blind.

Anonyman! 01-04-2009 07:04 PM

So? If anything you might get some pity sex.

Oddsville 01-05-2009 04:42 AM

Or you may suddenly be able to play piano..

I don't understand the women phobia of cameras...

Weird, like every girl I know shoves as much of themselves into a picture as they can possibly fit on every occasion.

Leto 01-05-2009 05:06 PM

Me too.

It's the guys who avoid the cameras.

Bullet Magnet 01-06-2009 06:13 AM

For some reason, every time a camera comes out I'm wearing the same damn orange t-shirt.

Wil 01-06-2009 10:17 AM

Stop wearing it. Take it off right now.

Me after some surgery I had.

Hopefully there'll be more to come at the weekend. But without the enlarged chin.

Nate 01-06-2009 03:24 PM

Okay, new rule for this thread: Photos must be a clean and clearly visible shot of the person. Anything that distorts or disfigures the picture (any more than a simple filter) is not allowed.

Facsimile 01-06-2009 05:04 PM

Objection.
I don't see how it affects anyone badly.

Anonyman! 01-06-2009 05:39 PM

Right, but the stupid shit thread or whatever exists for that kind of stuff.

Leto 01-06-2009 05:41 PM

:

Hey everyone! Check out this funny picture I made of myself. Hahaha! Isn't my face distorted in a most peculiar, almost grotesque yet hilarious fashion? Ahaha! Now to be showered in praises from my wonderful fellow posters.

Di, my goodness. The nose ring, the beard, the helmet...

I'll post a recent picture of me soon.

Anonyman! 01-06-2009 06:36 PM

He's like a viking.

Disgruntled Intern 01-07-2009 12:41 AM

Am I large enough to be a viking?

And now how old are you?

Wil 01-17-2009 09:47 AM

For you, AiN.

Mac Sirloin 01-17-2009 03:30 PM

I've got some pictures.
I'm taller now, not really thin, but I lost some weight for sure.
Low Q Pic 1:
Photobucket
I look awkward even when I take my own pictures.
MOMENTS LATER:
Photobucket
Brood brood, grim grim.
Photobucket
Taken, MMMMMMMMMMMOMENTS ago. Yeah, it's forced.
Photobucket
That's my shower behind me. I have to stoop a bit.

Also, my video camera, tu-dah!

But wait, it gets worse.
Photobucket
This is me. Roughly one and a half-two years ago. I look fuckin' TERRIBLE. I was such an awkward looking fucker I don't even want to talk about it any more.

I didn't lose weight so much as gain some discernible muscle mass and grow a couple inches, but being able to lift heavy shit is cool. Also, my hands are still huge, but not as bad looking.

Okay, time to stop editing, talking about my hands is wher eI cut conversations short. Unless the subject is fisting.

Wil 01-17-2009 04:38 PM

What are you holding?

Mac Sirloin 01-17-2009 05:17 PM

A bag of milk. Note that the picture is titled "Captain Canada"; if memory serves it was a response to something Hobo said.

I keep looking at it thinking "I would beat the shit out of that kid."

And I would. Back when I was a Metalhair pretentious weeaboo hypocrit douchebag, and a bloody weakling, I would go back in time and beat myself up.
