I have a similar one like the lying man riddle...
Imagine walking though a cave. Suddenly, you come to a fork. At the fork are two cavetrolls. One ALWAYS speaks the truth, while the other ALWAYS lies. One tunnel leads to the exit, while the other leads to certain doom. How do you know which tunnel to take? |
Don't you ask each if the other one is lying?
I can't think properly at the moment, so I can't work out the outcome of that :( |
Nope, not the right answer.
|
You ask both of them whats 2+2? And if that one says 4, then he always tell the truth.
|
Heh, that's a way, but not the answer I'm looking for. After 2 more guesses, I'll give the answer.
|
Give then a question wich is not a yes & no answer, and you know the answer. If that one who is right tells the truth, then you tell him wich way is the exit.

Another Riddle!
Heres another riddle!
Black we are, and much admired, Men seek for us if they're tired. We tire the horse, but comfort man, Tell me this riddle if you can. Do you know what it is? :fuzconf: |
Answer on my riddle: Ask the trolls this question: "What would the other troll say if you'd ask him what the right tunnel is?"
Imagine the good tunnel is the left one. The liar would say the right one, he lies about the *good* troll, which would say the truth, and say left. The troll which speaks the truth, will also say the right one, because that will be the answer from the lying troll. So you have to take the other tunnel. As for Ann Neely's riddle: Is the answer Oil? |

The answer is a chimney. It's black with ash on the inside and has red bricks on the outside and has four corners. Ok, heres another: What force and strength cannot get through I with a gentle touch can do, And many in the street would stand Were I not a friend at hand. Do you know what it is? :fuzconf: |

Poink!
No, it's a key. You cannot get through a locked door with strength or force, but simply turning a key can unlock it. And if nobody had keys to their homes, they would be standing around in the street.
Ok, heres another: Only one color, but not one size, Stuck at the bottom, yet easily flies, Present in sun, but not in rain, Doing no harm, and feeling no pain. What is it? |
The shadow?
