There's a difference between 'Some trans people are bullshitting' and 'Trans people are bullshitting' or even 'Many trans people are bullshitting'. It's a difference of scale. You tend to make wide, sweeping pronouncements, then when pressed you walk them back somewhat towards (I assume) what you actually believe rather than what you amuse yourself by saying. And my point is that if you just expressed your views with a tad more nuance in the first place, it would save us all a lot of time and effort.
