I'll troll you if I want, bitch. I'm a grown ass man.

I asked you not to try. If you think you can do it successfully, be my guest, Mr.Man.

Been watching all the Bond films as they've been airing them all lately.

No matter the actor, that cunt can NOT stop undressing women. It's fucking hilarious how he comes into a hotel room, bad puns over towards a lady, bad puns her clothes off, has sex, then the next morning he bad puns out the room after killing assassins.

OANST 06-19-2010 09:01 AM

Would it have been better if he had good punned his way through all of that?

Strike Witch 06-19-2010 09:04 AM

I'm not sure.

OANST 06-19-2010 09:05 AM

Trick question. There is no such thing as a good pun.

Strike Witch 06-19-2010 09:13 AM

Well, it wouldn't be James Bond without him tripping someone off a balcony and saying something groan-worthy about having a nice trip.

OANST 06-19-2010 09:26 AM

That's probably why I don't watch it.

Oh... :( Well, for a moment I was getting excited. I really wanna read that novel. The one by Philip. I was even going to go to the library today as I was reminded of it, but then it was closed.

It's just... I really liked Blade Runner, and if there was some reading material to continue the saga, I'd love to read it...

Anyway I read that Scott has considered making a sequel movie a couple of times, but couldn't because of legal matters and stuff. Maybe that's a good thing though. I never saw Blade Runner as a movie that really needed a sequel It was so good on its own.

Be forewarned it's really depressing! :fuzzle: Oh if you can (and if you don't mind audiobooks) see if you could find the Blade Runner audio book by Random House Audio, idk why they call it Blade Runner it's the PKD novel unabridged, but has one of the best narrators evar! (he could even pull off women's voices unlike the guy in the Watchmen digital comic lol)

I just saw Shudder Island a few days ago. A lot of people are saying it's not Scorsese's finest work and while I'll agree it's not the Departed, I feel the film deserves praise of a different kind. Without spoiling anything, the psychological aspects the film delves into are intriguing and I personally enjoyed the film techniques he employed to tell this particular story.

Wings of Fire 06-19-2010 10:33 AM

Well, that was quite the cliffhanger on Doctor Who.

Josh 06-19-2010 10:37 AM

We know that everything will be okay. He may loose an assistant or three, but the Daleks/Cybermen/Autons/Hoix/Silurians/Judoon/Atraxi/Roboforms/Sontarens will fall.

OddjobAbe 06-19-2010 10:51 AM

How about Sea Devils? I used to love them.

Disgruntled Intern 06-19-2010 10:56 AM

What the fuck is a Dalek, anyway? The only Dalek I know about is an artist I like. I have never seen Doctor Who.

OddjobAbe 06-19-2010 11:04 AM

Your new ones are not a patch on my old ones.

Wings of Fire 06-19-2010 11:06 AM

Oh please, it took a new series episode to actually make them credible threats again.

'YOU WOULD BEAT FIFTY MILLION CYBERMEN WITH FOUR DALEKS?'
'WE WOULD BEAT THE CYBERMEN RACE WITH ONE DALEK'

Disgruntled Intern 06-19-2010 11:10 AM

Is that really how horrible the show is all of the time? And here I was thinking that I might actually be missing out on something.

But the new ones didn't have those black (sometimes blue) hemispheres. They looked like copper ornaments. At least mine eventually became pewter ornaments.

Jesus Christ, no. It's the sort of thing that you only enjoy if you remember it from being a little 'un.

Disgruntled Intern 06-19-2010 11:15 AM

Oh, okay. So it's like Tales From the Crypt or Dark Shadows.

Wings of Fire 06-19-2010 11:20 AM

It's pretty bad yeah, but totally harmless.

MeechMunchie 06-19-2010 11:25 AM

It pulls a nice concept out of the hat occasionally.

Dark Shadows is great no matter what i don't care you can all die.

Disgruntled Intern 06-19-2010 11:42 AM

Without the nostalgia factored in? Come on, be realistic. I'm not saying I don't love it. I'm with you. But come on.

OANST 06-19-2010 11:48 AM

Yeah. I was kidding. Nostalgia is very important for the enjoyment of that show.

Disgruntled Intern 06-19-2010 11:52 AM

No you weren't. You don't kid around.

Wings of Fire 06-19-2010 04:37 PM

I just finally got round to watching Ponyo.

Miyazaki does it again. I love the man so much. He's pretty much my favourite director, animation or otherwise.

Daxter King 06-24-2010 12:52 PM

Toy Story 3, best movie I've seen all year. Everything was great, and I cant think of a better way to end it than how Pixar did. I cried at the end, something I rarely do in movies. Also made me realize how attached I felt to the characters.

shaman 06-24-2010 01:53 PM

I saw my first ever episode of "mongrels" last night, and i have to say it looks like it's going to be a brilliant series.

MA 06-24-2010 02:27 PM

i watched Convoy.

hmm.
