Always loved me some DKC.
And this was probably always my favorite track. Despite how infuriating this world could be. |
I love DKC and Rareware music in general, but DKC 2 takes the cake. So much good music in that game. |
DKC 2 was the only one we ever had a physical copy of. I was sooooo proud when I beat that dumb fucking sword. Made him eat a big magma dick.
This music got trapped in my head so many times and it never ever bothered me. Too bad Rare is stuck making kinect-wait no-dickneck games. Yeah. Dickneck. Sweet. |
Never owned a SNES, unfortunately, so I've only played them on the Wii virutal console. Sad, really. I own all three as well as a multitude of SNES games on there now, but damn if I wouldn't give anything to have grown up with one.
That sounds kind of sad, but hey. I can only imagine how good DKC and 2-D Zelda would be through rose-coloured glasses. |

I really like the music in Spiral Knights. Especially the title theme.

fucking masterpiece. |
I think this is appropriate to post what I have to say. And this may only apply to Mr Bungle.
Apparently Mr Townsend is planning on releasing Ziltoid the Omniscient on Rock Band as DLC, I think. And I'm not too sure if this has happened already or not but, Christ, I need to get Rock Band. Or not, the thought of By Your Command kicking my ass on a plastic toy guitar is going to be even more humiliating than it is on a real one. |

Ridg3: I'm looking forward to Hyperdrive! on drums. Fantastic news.
|
Amazing.
|
Because every song is great. |
I don't care about the game at all, but this song is pretty damn catchy. And cheesy. Anyways, like it a lot.
|
"Metal Fox" from "Crash Bash" :D
|
This is beautiful.

I got a zombie on me, and you can't harm me
Who do you voodoo, bitch? |
Why doesn't anyone post any music here. :[
|
One of the catchiest pieces of video game music you'll ever hear. So awesome. |
Just been reminded how great this track is. |

I made this video myself. Be nice.

There will never be another game like it |
Short but sweet!

It's a cliche in post-apocalyptic fantasy, but you know that bit in the film/game/book where our long-suffering hero has done more than he should, seen more than he wants to, and he'd trade his life for some small comfort?
And then he hears a voice. More often than not, it's the most beautiful voice he's ever heard. And he just stumbles forwards like a zombie to find the source of this enchanting sound, in the midst of this deathtrap wasteland? Bastion (very good game, check it out, I'll post in WAYPRN? when I finish it) has, IMHO, the best one of these moments, with one of the best songs, ever. Lean back and enjoy. EDIT: Also, a classic. |
I can't edit my old post any more.
Creepiest use of music box ever. |
