Since I move home almost every year, my art book does the same. Last year it stood on my shelf. It started doing the same this year, but I found to my horror that, presumably since it's close to my skylight which is forever condensationy, the pages were starting to warp. I moved it to the inside of my wardrobe before Christmas and thankfully its pages seem to have been restored to their original flatness.

I think they could in 2014, but it would be more of a 'what could have been' thing, it would likely be shorter than the first one but could still contain stranger's wrath, brutal ballad, the oddworld movie and citizen seige, depending on who owns the rights

Well, all of them can be collected, but there are two limited editions that are available. The regular limited edition is bound in black leather and costs 170 USD. 1000 were printed, of which 341 are still for sale on Ballistic's website. The special collector’s folio edition is bound in mock worn leather and comes in a display case, and costs 290 USD. 100 were printed, of which 58 are still for sale on Ballistic's website.

Both come with a hand-signed certificate of authenticity.

Didn't the Limited Edition come with a print signed certificate of authenticity?

Today Ballistic announced preorders for Uncharted 2: Drakes Fortune artbooks.

Now the site is even down, so I guess there is a big run on the books?

I think more and more gamers will find Ballistic site, and they might pick up the oddworld book too! I think it's promising :)


Also, a couple of books before there was a big chapter about Killzone 2 in a book. Don't think that made a big run on the site, as it wasn't announced that big, but still more and more gamedevelopers might do something with Ballistic, meaning more gamers could end up on the site, and consider also buying the Oddworld version :).

I had exactly the same thought when I saw the uncharted 2 announcement. This is a great thing for Ballitic, and I certainly hope they will try to make even more hi quality art-of books for games.

My guess is (since this is in partnership with Sony) that GOD OF WAR 3 will be next :P (atleast, that is what I am hoping for :D)
