Seriously sucks , I think ill just go for a stealth kill . :s

Leto 04-23-2006 02:05 AM

Well, that added to the thread immensely there, chap. >.>

I don't know where to get the spell, but Umbra works a charm. Weighs 0, too.

Mojo 04-23-2006 03:17 AM

Mysticism spells can be bought in one of the Guild Halls. Check out the Mages Guild Charter book to see where Mysicism spells are sold.

As for Goblin Jims cave, it's somewhere NNE from Skingrad. One of the Fighters Guild guys in Skingrad knows the exact location.

SeaRex 04-23-2006 12:55 PM

I got my Soultrap spell in the Bruma Mage's Guild.

Cyber-Slig 04-23-2006 02:31 PM

Got my spell now, let's make use of those nice, little, black soul gems now, shall we? :D

Also getting the PC version soon, 360 is too slow on this content... and it costs money. I'll just hope my computer is enough to run it.

T-nex 04-23-2006 10:36 PM

Well you can see the minimum system requirement here http://elderscrolls.com/games/oblivion_faq.htm

Mojo 04-24-2006 01:03 AM

Heh, got me a Daedric Cuirass on level 15... DId the Janus Hassildor/BLoodcrust Cavern vampire quest for the Mages Guild, and one of the Vampires was wearing it. Oh yeah, Feather potions rule... 186 points of Feather for 600 + Seconds, with only a apprentice set of Alchemy Equipment? Wow, can't imagine how it'll be with better equipment. Alchemy's on level 100 too.

SeaRex 04-24-2006 05:32 AM

Potions don't change as drastically between sets as they did in Morrowind. Still, it makes you feel special when you FINALLY find the complete set of Master equipment.

Oh man, I can't wait for the Wizard's Tower. I just want to see what the Alchemy Lab is all about.

T-nex 04-24-2006 06:35 AM

I once found a an apprentice alchemy something... The snaky-glass thingy... So i wanted to throw out the old, but... I accidently threw the apprentice one away, and i didn't noticed untill it was too late and i forgot where i had thrown it away :'(

Mojo 04-24-2006 06:45 AM

Not to worry, you can buy them in the Mages Guild shops, and in the Alchemists shops too :)

EDIT: Did the Clavicus Vile quest the legit way, today, and for some reason it didn't crash. Now, stupid me had to try again, and from then on it crashed... Oh well, got Umbra first, and then did the quest. Works fine too.

Coolmanbizkit 04-24-2006 01:21 PM

One more quest 'till I'm Thieves Guildmaster. :D
How do i get into the Castle without getting chased? On the last couple of Thieves quests, I just ran for it with guards cahsing me...
Also, What Armour's beter than Leather? And Bow better than Silver... At level 5? :p
Seriously. I only use Bow, But sometimes it's too weak, I have Steel arrows too.

Cyber-Slig 04-24-2006 01:38 PM

Leather is best for you right now, Mithril soon follows. As for getting into the Palace basement, just shoot the patrolling guard in the back and walk in, then shoot the guy in there too. There is no Blood Price, so you can kill anyone you want (except the Blind Moth Priests, kill them and you get banned from the guild, permanently).

Oh, and the Wizard's Tower was released today. It's extremely nice, you get it for free and the furniture costs you no more than 6000 gold. Almost all the herbs in-game are inside and you can have an Atronach familiar. There's also an ice cavern at the top where you can store all your goods and get a buff/daedra summon alchohol from two gravestones. Upgrade it and you get a bunch of Imps who fly around and guard it. And ofcourse, jumping off the top of the tower at full speed is always nice.

Shooting them will make them chase/kill me.

Cyber-Slig 04-24-2006 01:43 PM

Do it at night and only one guard will patrol a corridor.

But theres one at the door leading to the Private Rooms.

Cyber-Slig 04-24-2006 01:50 PM

Wait a minute, did you go through the Old Way (Secret Passage) to the Palace?

Coolmanbizkit 04-24-2006 01:58 PM

You're talking about Anvil Castle... Right?
If yes, No. I didn't.

Cyber-Slig 04-24-2006 02:03 PM

Anvil Castle? That's not the last Thieve's guild quest. You mean the quest with Heironymus Lex? That's not even near the end of the questline. Anyway, speak to the Smith and he'll show you a secret passage. Go through there and sneak through when it's night, and open up the desk.

SeaRex 04-24-2006 02:03 PM

EDIT: Dammit. Everything I wrote was pretaining to the actual last Thieves Guild quest.

Also, Cool, you're at what I like to call "the wall" for Marksman right now, meaning your bow and arrows are pretty much worthless. Once you're a high enough level to get a glass bow (it'll be sooner than you think), then Marksman will start being good again.

Mojo 04-25-2006 12:02 AM

Wabbajack indeed!

Anyways, how many points is the Wizards Tower?

Heh, the Boethia quest was fun. Got a full daedric set now, even earlier than my last character (Which got it at lvl 30-ish, got it on 25 now :)).

Now, gonna do the other Daedric Quests next.

Okay, off to class again. Ciao!

T-nex 04-25-2006 12:04 AM

Hi... lol I'm in lvl 5 now... Hmm, will I ever be able to join a deadric sect or whutever? Cos i couldn't when facing that sect the first time in the main quest. Please don't spoil anything, but just tell me if we'll ever be able to join one :-/

Mojo 04-25-2006 06:55 AM

Well, it's not like you join one, you do a quest for them. And then get rewarded. On lvl 5, you can do Namira's quest. She's somewhat east of bruma, I think.

SeaRex 04-25-2006 07:04 AM

I say that we need to be able to join Daedric cults in the next Elder Scrolls game. Also, we should be able to join an "evil" side of the main quest. The whole "save the world" thing totally didn't fit my first character.

I mean, the Dark Brotherhood was unbelievably awesome, but we need more evil choices!

No worries my friend. I've already been writing an entire storyline for that... I plan on making a total conversion for the PC Game enabling you to play as the Mythic Dawn and/or Daedra. Not much I can say just yet, but it will feature more races, more Daedric armours, more houses, more quests and even your own Plane of Oblivion. Though I really need some people to help me with the whole project, mainly;

1. Voice Actors/Actresses
2. Voice Editors
3. Modellers and texturers
4. Animators
5. Scripters! And allot of them.

Mojo 04-25-2006 11:43 AM

Hmm, just found out that the Feather on Self Sigil Stone is better than the Fortify Strength Sigil stone... 125 Feather against 12 Strength (which in turn means 60 encumbrance)? Easy choice.

Coolmanbizkit 04-25-2006 12:13 PM

I finished the Quest to get the Key arrow thingy... Hardest quest ever.
But, I'm trying to get the Unbreakable Lockpick, But, When i go into Leyawiin, The quest marker dissapears. So, I have no idea where it is, The Beggers don't even have an option for me to ask them. :(
Help, Please. :D

Mojo 04-25-2006 12:17 PM

That would be Nocturnals Quest. The Nocturnal shrine is somewhere east of Vaerminas shrine.

Yeah, but more strength also = more melee damage. I had a piece of armor for a Strength stone and one for a Feather stone for that very reason.

On the other hand, there's really no point in choosing the Fortify Intelligence Stone, which yields 24 points of extra Magika, over the Fortify Magika Stone, which yields 50.

...

Cool, you're supposed to find out who knows the location of the stone on your own. Ask/accuse certain people during the day while they're in their houses.

So basically, you need everyone essential for modding?

I'll help, I know a bit about scripting and the CS, though I need Oblivion on PC first. Can you still access all of the voice and music files like you could in Morrowind?
